I love my new radio, it has every option you could imagine from av input, navigation, Apple CarPlay and hands free talk and text. I’m very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this radio.

I got this for my 2001 Z28 Camaro. I had to get a custom bezel so it could fit the double din in my dash but it was worth it. Has a ton of great features and now my car feels like it has the technology of all the new cars. Only thing I don't like about it is the tuning system, I prefer the previous pioneer tuning system because it was much easier to get right. I'm going to have to have someone professionally tune it to my system. Other than that, it's a must have if you're in the market for a new system!

The pioneer car stereo is indeed an excellent choice for anyone looking to upgrade. The navigation system is easy to use and the speed limit display is great for traveling on roads you are unfamiliar with to avoid getting a speeding ticket. Every feature works seamlessly and Switching between the modes such as SiriusXM, radio,dvd/cd and nav are done with pressing on one button on touch screen. I highly recommend this product.

We bought this head unit to replace the stock cd/am/fm that came with the 9 year old camper. We're very pleased so far. Added Sirius, and with the navigation, it's a must! Very pleased. Only draw back is that the screen is a little "busy" for me. I also replaced the rear view monitor and had to make a few modifications (i.e. covered the faux wood with a black vinyl wrap). The stereo is the bottom unit in the picture.

Every thing would be great if the navigation didn’t quit on me. Only in vehicle for two weeks. I’m going to exchange it for another but if that one does it, it will have to be shipped out to So-Cal.

... but to get those features you have to buy a radio with features you don't want or need, which costs more. I don't have an iPhone so ApplePlay is useless, does not come with Android Play. I use Bluetooth for phone calls and streaming music. Works great for that. The back-up camera feature works well. Navigation works well and has features I have not seen on my older Magellan GPS unit. All in all, quiet pleased, just wish NAV and backup camera were features of less expensive units. I don't need Apple/Android Play when driving.

Awesome stereo player. Would highly recommend if using sub woofers. Sound is great, touch screen looks great, and it brings out the quality in your speakers. I love the navigation and Apple CarPlay. Great for the price! Would buy again if needed.

So this might not be a super "technical" review but i will give it my best shot. The gps is awesome! I love that I do not have to use my phone, the bulit in gps rocks! But, I am able to connect my Samsung galaxy instantly, which as you know provides some pretty cool features. Sound quality is awesomesauce and with the built in equalizer, you can custom the highs, mids and lows for a full audio celebration for your ears. Dvd portion works good, it helps shut the kids up. Pioneer was the "it" brand late 90's early 2000's when my husband was a youngin who had bass so explosive it popped the glass on the hatch of our Camaro, Pioneer is still quality after all these years! I recommend Pioneer for all your car audio needs. Its been 20+ years for us and Pioneer STILL out performs. Get this, you will love it. It also has really pretty colors for backgrounds and you can change it. Ok that's it, it was an awesome purchase!

I found the screen useless when the sunlight fluds the front seat. I can't see the screen as it turns into a mirror and reflexed light. The brightness is up as high as it will go. The Bluetooth works well and the Sat Radio is always on. I don't even listen to my old radio stations. I haven't tried the DVD Player and I did put in a CD and the sound is exceptional. I have used the NAV option a couple of times and it took me right to the address.

This is a pretty good radio. Decent sound and power, the GPS capabilities are cool. I feel like there can be a little more custom abilities as far as personalization goes. Only issue I have with this unit, considering the price, is the lack of a wiring harness that will allow you to control it with your steering wheel controls. The buttons are small and hard to read, a pain in the butt without the steering wheel capabilities.

I bought the unit and had it installed by Geek Squad techs at one Best Buy location, and within 2-3 days my battery was absolutely drained such that neither jumping the car with cables or putting it on a charger for 30 minutes helped. I finally had to get AAA to come jump it. I then drove it for about an hour and the battery seemed okay. But 2-3 days later it was completely dead again. But I had noticed that the unit did not turn off when the ignition was turned off, not even with the door open. So I was finally able to take my car to another Best Buy location where the tech confirmed that there was a problem with the unit not turning off which caused excessive battery drain. A subsequent vist by a AAA tech verified that my battery was damaged such that it needed to be replaced. However, the Geek Squad managers took care of it, and I'm awaiting reimbursement for the cost of the battery. The tech at the second Best Buy location had found that a firmware update to the navigation module corrected the same issue on another unit, so he updated my unit and the issue was corrected. Nice unit, just make sure the firmware is updated when it's installed.

Bought primarily for GPS. Very intuitive, accurate and nice warnings. Big screen in console and could be mistaken for original equipment. Functions are easy to use from drivers position or pax seat. Limited on voice accents (I got spoiled on the English accent) but that is my only complaint. Geek Squad installation was perfect.

I like the features with the radio, the best is the backup camera, Apple car functions work great, the Bluetooth hands free works great. I am disappointed the xm radio is not included for the price, it’s an additional item to purchase.

Great sound and versatility in the configurations available in selecting sounds and themes/backgrounds for the radio. You must be tech savvy in firmware upgrades and other tweaks to get the radio to fit your likes and keeping up with technology updates. If you're into a hands-on experienced to get the best there is, then this is for you. Great for later upgrading to add back seat video and a rear view camera.

Pioneer hit a home run with this product! The sound quality is fantastic and easy to program. Although not a garmin device, once you get the hang of the navigation system it provides more info at s glance than my old garmin device. Definitely worth the money!

This receiver is awesome. I added the satellite radio and backup camera to make it complete. The gps works great too. I no longer need a gps and external xm unit to clutter my dashboard. Also, it’s really convenient to have the hands free calling. Never thought I would like it this much

Navigation works good. Radio was good. Or use the Bluetooth and listen to my books from my iPhone or use the hands-free telephone so I don’t get arrested all in all it was a goodbye have a great day installation everything went great. Thank you

I bought an open box older model that has all the extras like Navigation, DVD, Sirius, Bluetooth, Apple Play for under $400. This is my 3rd Pioneer in dash and it's a solid unit. Especially with 2 amps and focal components.

I like the sound quality and the built in navi. I guess i get what i paid for. In order for carplay to work i have to plug in my phone to usb. Its just weird that phone calls and Maps works wirelessly and everything else has to be plugged in: And also, if u have your phone plugged in and then not..you have to set it up again. So i have to remind myself to just not plugged in so i dont have to set it up over and over.

Very impressed with my purchase, great quality, looks, sound, ease of use and install, I would recommend the pioneer brand to anyone looking to buy a good quality head unit
