My wife photos were not as expected when wel would photograph area in the mountains near us in Utah. I suggested to use a UV filter to help enhance her pictures. We live in a altitude of 6000 feet and go up to Cedar Breaks, Bryce, etc. Some areas are 11,000 feet and now using the Best Buy Platinum filter her photos are much better. Here are two photos in those areas.

The 55mm UV Lens Filter I acquired for my Canon R10 with an 18-150mm lens has proven to be a valuable addition to my photography gear. Its build quality is commendable, ensuring durability and protection for my lens against dust and scratches. The filter's glass quality appears high, with minimal impact on image clarity. It fits perfectly on my lens, without any issues. Most importantly, it effectively blocks UV rays without noticeable image degradation. While I found it to be a bit on the pricey side, its performance and peace of mind in safeguarding my lens make it a worthwhile investment for any photographer using a similar setup.

I had bought a new lens for my Sony a6*** camera and always keep a UV filter on all my lenses since im a wildlife photographer and that puts me in dusty and sometimes misty locations. For the money, this Best Buy house brand is better than some better known filters ive used in the past that cost twice what this one was. Luckily, a Best Buy store on the way to my destination for a shoot had 1 in stock, i ordered it on line and it was at will-call when i arrived 45 min later. Great job BB, this is why we consumers need you.

My grandfather always taught me to protect my lenses by adding a UV filter. Whether or not you need the benefit of the UV filtration, it's still great peace-of-mind to have an inexpensive layer of glass in front of your much more expensive lens. If you accidentally scratch this or crack it by bumping into something, you'll be relieved that you can just replace the UV filter cheaply and the rest of your equipment is unharmed.

I have plenty to say about my planinum series filters for my Nikon camera. Packaging is non bulky and made very well. Lens filter case is small and compact so there is no reason you shouldn't have your filters with you. The lens themselves, I love the way they screw on and they never cross thread. The fit perfect every time. Love this product.

UV filters are design to filter out UV rays and help give the picture you are taking a deeper blue and richer colors with shooting in sunlight. They also server another purpose and that is to protect you lenses. If you scratch the UV filter , you can simply replace it instead of buying a new lens. This is a cheap way to protect your expensive lenses with out compromising the picture

this was another product that i purchased and had to return due to me not knowing how to figure out the correct dimensions that a photographer needs for such items. But i purchased the right size and very very happy. Oh also when i first received this product even though it was the wrong size, i was quite impressed with the packaging that they have in order to preserve the product.

Bought this lens filter after reading reviews about it protecting camera lenses. I don't see too much of a difference with the UV filter in my images but then again I don't take a lot of outdoor photography. I mainly bought it for a cheap way to protect my lens because it would be easy to replace in the event something happens.

This is the filter we buy to serve as a lens protector – as opposed to leaving our camera lens unprotected. I'd much rather clean a fingerprint off of a filter than the actual lens surface. Also, there's at least a filter to help keep those errant pebbles from destroying our investment.

Works as advertised. Nice storage case and easily screws on and off. I did use it on a sunny day and did notice a slight difference in picture quality. Also protects camera lens. I’m sure other brands perform similarly but why pay twice the price for a name brand when this does the same thing.

Perfect fit for my Canon. This UV Lens filter is wonderful! I've used it for both indoor and outdoor shooting and just perfect with getting rid of the glare and is a protector for my lens. Recommend.

UV filters like this are just for keeping your camera lens safe. But this one actually does more than that and gives you a very sharp image and protects your shot from lens flares that ruin your favorite shot on your vacation. A must have for amateur photographers

This filter was recommended to me by a Best Buy associate, and I'm glad he did. I'm new in the camera market, so I'm learning as I go. This filter adds a nice clear effecr to my pictures, and protects the main lens from scratches and dust. I definitely recommend this to anyone purchasing a new camera!

Overall great item. Exactly what I needed. Had bought item elsewhere before and not same quality.

Living on the sunny coast means tons of light and this lens not only helps my outdoor shoots but it makes me feel safe knowing my lense has extra protection from the sand and other elements.

I never use a camera lens without a filter. Scratches happen. Would rather replace a filter than a lens
