I do a lot of outdoor photography, I live in Florida, and in the summer when the temperature runs in the high nineties, the blue sky becomes white. Casual observers see a blue sky, but if one takes a really good look at it, it is white with a light blue hue. To correct nature, I use a polarized filter that I can rotate to get the depth, or lack of depth, of color. This filter I bought at Best Buy is fantastic and does what it is supposed to do. Can you say more for a product?

Was hired to shoot framed artwork. Glare was huge issue. Bought this and poof! Glare gone. Awesome for me and the client.

I tested this filter on my Nikon D750 with the kit lense that you can opt to purchase. It was a bright day on the beach and photos without it would be impossible. It did the job!

Bought for my hubby. He took great photos. Lens and camera survived fall at Machu Picchu!

A must have filter for shooting outdoors in sunlight or any type of conditions. It also serves to protect your lense against scratches or breakage!

I recently bought a 70-200 mm 2.8L and I thought all polorizers were created equal but boy was I wrong. I was shooting and noticed that when using this polorizer that the images were blurry and unclear. I decided to do a side by side comparison of a polorized shot vs raw lens shot and the differences were amazing. Left image is clear and crisp but ruined by reflections - right image the polorizer has done its job but distorts the image.

Essential for protecting the glass on those expensive camera lenses. I recently bought a 70-200mm Nikon long distance zoom lens and got this to protect the front element. Doesn't distort the image and haven't had any issues that others might have noted (threading, etc.). So far, so good plus the price is right.

My last premium lens filter broke, so I had to purchase another one. These filters are nearly impossible to get off! That is the only downfall. I had to pay someone to take it off without ruining my lens. It did protect my lens from damage though!

Fits perfectly on my Coolpix 1000 camera. Protects the lens as well as giving amazing beauty to the colors of my nature pictures. Price point is good as well.

This is my first CP, and as a beginner, I think it checks all the boxes. Took it to Colorado for a trip, and drastically changed my photos, for the better!! Made the sky bluer, cut reflections on water, and made colors in general pop! I compared my photos to a buddy’s photos on the trip who didn’t have a CP. Can tell a major difference. It does everything a CP is supposed to do, for a fraction of the price of the higher end models.

I needed a replacement UV filter - previous one "died" protecting my lens! The price was good and it functions as expected.

This is not an expensive Carl Zeiss type lens filter, but it is very good quality without the designer label. Recommend this lens filter for anyone who wants to minimize light reflection in their photos, while improving light transmission.

This is my second polarizing filter from the Platinum brand. The build quality is good for the price, and the image quality has never been negatively effected by these filters for me.

I am hard on equipment and I'm working on the beach all the time... For ~$50 this thing is 98% as good as the best filters at a fraction of the cost. I have to deal with ocean spray, rain, etc... I clean my stuff with my shirt! Not good to do with a $250 filter, but for $50, I can deal with it!

I use this filter for two reasons. To protect my lens' front element. And to darken the blues and greens, and remove glare, when shooting outdoors. It does both well. And there doesn't appear to be any image quality loss when using this filter.

I purchased a new lens and always have a filter on the lens not only for protection but need the polarizer filter to get a true picture in bright sun light. This filter was priced at a good price compared to a more noted name brand and am very pleased with the results.

This is an excellent filter. I purchased this filter for Caribbean photo shoots. This filter really made my images look great! The protective case is very nice as well. I will only purchase Platinum filters from now on.

So far does a great job in reducing glare, I have not witnessed it reducing image clarity like some others have mentioned. Seems to be a good attachment to my sigma lens.

The lens filter is more for protection than anything else. I have learned that a lens filter is less expensive to replace than a lens. It also works great for what it actually intended for, reducing the internal lens flares and reflections.
