Q: How in the world do you take the case off the phone? It's pretty difficult and I normally never have an issue with a phone case.

A: Totally agree. On the one hand you don't want the case to come off accidentally, but getting this one off is not easy. Pushing the little triangle with your finger or coin will not work. I took a little flat head screwdriver, 1/8 inch wide and very carefully pushed it into the gap a bit to the left of the triangle. Separate slightly while pushing down and the parts will disengage. You won't damage the phone as you are pushing into the case latch not the phone. The only slight drawback is there probably will be a slight nick in the case edge where the screwdriver went in. I am very picky and it doesn't really bother me. Hopefully I won't need to do this often.

Five star case with belt clip
I have used these cases on my last three Galaxy phones. I was looking for a case with both good protection but still allow easy access to the phone. I do not like cases that cover the screen so I did not go with the Otterbox. The phone case itself is very snug. Matter of fact on this one for the S8 once it is on you have a hard time taking back off. You can easily get to all of the buttons and controls. I have big fingers but still have no issue getting the fingerprint reader and HRM to work. There is plenty of space to connect headphones and plug the phone in without taking the case off. Bonus, there is a kickstand on the back with a magnetic closure. The belt clip is rugged, so no cutting corners on materials or design. Only once have I broken anything on these cases. That was on the S4 and the phone clip got caught on a door frame and it broke half off. It still worked after that though. So, yes, they are tough. The belt clip itself also has another kickstand. So you can clip your phone in with the face out and still watch a movie. Not sure why, but you can. The ONLY thing I don't like is that they come in any color you want, as long as you want black. Since my last three phones have not been black (and are quite pretty imho) it is disappointing that you never get to see them. True, protection is the main concern, but it would be nice if the cases could be gray or silver. Overall I would always pick the Platinum cases for my phones. I'm sure that it has saved me from a cracked screen or many scratches and dings.

Husband Loves This
My husband had a case just like this for his Galaxy S4 and insisted on finding one just like it. He loves the protection from the front clip part and that the back click lets him hook it to his jeans but his favorite part, I think, is the built in stand so that he can watch his football LOL The phone is well protected and this case works well for him.

Great product overall
Sturdy case, slim profile and a optional use clip. Had it for a few months now and I've dropped it a few times and the case remained intact with no damage to the phone. I just wish the stand was a little wider and closer to the middle of the case but other than that, no complaints here. Definitely worth buying to protect your phone.
