I have used these cases on my last three Galaxy phones. I was looking for a case with both good protection but still allow easy access to the phone. I do not like cases that cover the screen so I did not go with the Otterbox. The phone case itself is very snug. Matter of fact on this one for the S8 once it is on you have a hard time taking back off. You can easily get to all of the buttons and controls. I have big fingers but still have no issue getting the fingerprint reader and HRM to work. There is plenty of space to connect headphones and plug the phone in without taking the case off. Bonus, there is a kickstand on the back with a magnetic closure. The belt clip is rugged, so no cutting corners on materials or design. Only once have I broken anything on these cases. That was on the S4 and the phone clip got caught on a door frame and it broke half off. It still worked after that though. So, yes, they are tough. The belt clip itself also has another kickstand. So you can clip your phone in with the face out and still watch a movie. Not sure why, but you can. The ONLY thing I don't like is that they come in any color you want, as long as you want black. Since my last three phones have not been black (and are quite pretty imho) it is disappointing that you never get to see them. True, protection is the main concern, but it would be nice if the cases could be gray or silver. Overall I would always pick the Platinum cases for my phones. I'm sure that it has saved me from a cracked screen or many scratches and dings.

My husband had a case just like this for his Galaxy S4 and insisted on finding one just like it. He loves the protection from the front clip part and that the back click lets him hook it to his jeans but his favorite part, I think, is the built in stand so that he can watch his football LOL The phone is well protected and this case works well for him.

Sturdy case, slim profile and a optional use clip. Had it for a few months now and I've dropped it a few times and the case remained intact with no damage to the phone. I just wish the stand was a little wider and closer to the middle of the case but other than that, no complaints here. Definitely worth buying to protect your phone.

This is a great case that I have had on similar phones that I have owned in the past. It is very durable and functional with the kickstand and holster. I have never had one break on me, and has always protected the phones I have owned in the past.

I love these cases. I've bought them for all my previous phones in the past 4 years. I drop my phone ALOT but have never had a cracked screen or any problems from the drops. And the kickstand is a plus.

I have been using the platinum phone holster type phone case for my last three phones. My last platinum case for the S8 is very hard to take apart when I use VR. There is no place to place your fingers to pull it apart. It's hard to press the arrow that separates the cover and the edges on the cover by the volume control are very sharp! I should have kept my Otter box. = (

I like the kickstand feature but the case cost more than other brands and I didn't like the cut outs to get to the buttons. Ultimately I went to a Spigen slim armor case instead.

protects as advertised, the kickstand is great for viewing videos and i won't have to worry about the edges becoming loose like an otterbox

So the Platinum cases with the kickstand have always been my favorite cases over the past few years...having the option of setting your phone down in landscape mode and watching videos, playing slot games, etc and not having to hold the phone is great. Havent dropped my phone, which since the S8 so fragile Im glad I havent, but the case feels like it should be able to protect most simple drops. Also for the S8 having the infinity screen I was worried a case would block some of it but this case does a good job of not blocking anything

I bought this because of the belt clip. And it has a built in kick stand so I can watch hands free. I would definitely recommend this case.

overall good, sturdy case for my phone; my only complaint is that once the case is on, it's extremely difficult to take off!

Wanted protective case and it came with a bonus belt clip holder. Don't like carrying phone in my pocket.

I used Platinum for my S5 and it has protected it like a champ. The kickstand and belt clip are handy as well.

This case is good for protection and style. I like the kickstand in the back, Can be a little bulky though.
