A: No, this watch band is leather and has no silicone. I like the woven cloth band that came with my FitBit Versa 2 Special Edition Smart Watch, but It did irritate my wrist. I had a FitBit Charge 2 with a silicone band a few years ago, and it really irritated my wrist. I had an allergic reaction to the silicon in the form of a skin rash all around my wrist after wearing it. The leather band has not irritated my skin like the silicon band did. I didn't know it was the silicon band that caused my wrist rash at the time, but that us an issue for many people.
A: Whether it is waterproof or not, I have wet it and has had not bad effects
A: It runs large. The band is about 8”. The buckle side is 3” and the other side is 5” with 10 holes. I have a smaller wrist and I have to put it on the second to last hole.
Q: What is the difference between versa 2 and versa 3 watches
A: Versa 3 has added features such as GPS tracking and a speaker to answer your phone or send texts. This feature is only available with Android phone devices. You will get texts and alerted to your phone ringing with an Apple phone but you can't answer your phone or send texts. Versa 3 also has a new charger that charges quicker and replacing the watchband is suppose to be easier. Would suggest you do a google search for watch comparisons of Versa 2 and Versa 3 which will give you a full comparison of features.
