Sony Music announces PLAYMOBIL THE MOVIE (ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK), with score music by GRAMMY® Award-winning composer HEITOR PEREIRA (Despicable Me, The Angry Birds Movie, Smallfoot) and songs from pop superstars MEGHAN TRAINOR and ADAM LAMBERT. Available from Sony Music Masterworks, the follows last month's debut of Meghan Trainor's "Run Like the River," written by the pop songstress as part of her performance in the live-action/animated adventure comedy. Meghan lends her voice alongside a star-studded cast including Daniel Radcliffe, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jim Gaffigan, Gabriel Bateman, and Kenan Thompson, as well as multiplatinum-selling artist Adam Lambert, who also contributes an original song to the soundtrack entitled "Give The People What They Want." Directed by Lino DiSalvo and based on the best-selling children's play sets, Playmobil The Movie makes it's theatrical debut on August 30th, 2019. Of the soundtrack, composer HEITOR PEREIRA says, "It was such a pleasure to spread the message of the movie, which is all about positivity, exploring the world and family togetherness."
