Today’s laptops are much smaller than they were just a few years ago. For consumers, this reduction is is convenient because the small size makes them more portable which is likely why you purchased it. They are lighter, the batteries last longer, and they have become more powerful. But a negative side effect is that they have fewer ports to connect additional accessories. This 4-port USB port solves that problem. I’ve attached a full sized keyboard and mouse, both of which are wireless! I can also use it to back up my PC to a thumb drive. This hub greatly increases the versatility of your laptop! As noted, however, it cannot be used for charging.
