This is very useful for when you need to spread out several items that are part of your work. I have 5 external monitors plugged into this Plugable dock, and along with the laptop monitor, have 6 monitors available to use. I use a MacBook Air M3 with 8GB of RAM, and haven't had many problems with using the docking station. I've found that booting up goes smoother when I wait to turn on the dock after I've logged into the laptop. The dock runs hot, so I'm using two small fans that cooled a previous dock. I'm using almost all of the ports. On the back, I have the cable connecting to the laptop, power supply cord, five monitor cables (2 HDMI and 3 USB-C), and the Ethernet cable. On the front is a plug to one of the fans. It would be nice to have more USB-A ports, so maybe that will happen when this dock is updated. Be aware that you'll need to download and install DisplayLink software to make everything work as it should.

This station is sleek and sturdy. I bought with the intention to use 4 screens along with my Macbook Pro M1 Max and it's been amazing. Everything is working as designed without any hiccups.
