This has been a great SSD so far. It is not the largest capacity but it is fast and has worked without any issues whatsoever. I have used it on my desktop and with a Raspberry Pi 4 and it has been flawless with both. If you need an inexpensive (it is definitely not cheap, it is built very well and looks great) and stable 2.5" SSD then this is a great option.

Excellent budget option, especially when the 240 GB and 120 GB are priced the same. This provides a great boost of speed for older machines but remember it is DRAM-less and not as durable as traditional SSDs, like the Samsung EVO/PRO series or the Crucial MX500. Like most SSDs, it has to be initialized before formatting when new out of the box.

I bought this SSD when it was on sale for a great deal. I got the PNY CS900 240GB version, about ~223GB actual usable space. Made in Taiwan. Does not come with anything else, no screws, no cables, not even a paper manual/warranty sheet. It's budget DRAMless SSD with a Phison S11 controller, but it's fairly fast for most common tasks. Benchmarks rate it at 562 MB/s sequential read and 495 MB/s sequential write, so it's just slightly slower on writes. It's great for speeding up older computers that are using hard drives. The main question is its reliability as there are few reviews of it dying after a few months. Will update the review if it dies.

I installed in my computer and downloaded Windows so my computer boots up almost instantly. Product works as intended, went in easy, and it perfect for installing Windows on and having another hardrive to install programs and games on.

This drive and the 120GB model are definitely the best bang for your buck. Especially if they're on sale. Are they as good as the competition? Nah. They won't outperform or outlast an 860 Evo, or even a SanDisk Ultra. But they'll perform more than half as good, and they'll last more than half as long. So if you can get it for half the price and it fits your intended use, this is the one you want.

Couldn’t be happier with this drive. It’s fast and small. Plenty of space.

Good overall ssd. I had to get this one because my old hard drive failed but this was a great replacement.

Bought to boost an old laptop for a 10 year for school. Didn’t have cloning software but was able to use EaseUS. Speed is as fast as my older Samsung Evos in MacBooks. Will see how long it last. Picture of speed uploaded. ASUS a few years old with an i3 so no thrills but for $30 it’s like a new machine.

Bought to update older i3 desktop I use in my kitchen. Comes with free download of Acronis True Image, which worked like a charm to clone the existing drive(which I tucked away for safe keeping. Fast, reliable so far...BB had same price as internet as well which always makes me feel good about supporting them!

Best Buy did a Fast and Great job on installing my new Hard Drive... I have an Older version of an All-In-One HP and they still were able to make it perform like it was Brand New!!! It is ALL they told me it would be... I turn on my Computer in the AM and I'm pretty much on it all day, with few interruptions... I do Real Estate from home, That should say it all...hahah

I put two of these in a raid and striped them. They run super fast and I'm very happy. As always with SSD's backup frequently just in case. They can be hit or miss. Luckily I've never had a miss on any SSD's I've purchased. Same goes with these babies!

Picked this SSD up for $38 after tax at my local bestbuy, for use in a 3 year old laptop, running windows 10 1909 with a spinning 5400rpm hard disk, that i upgraded to a 7200rpm but still felt something was missing, and i was being held back by the hard drive. This SSD is fantastic! Let the photos speak for themselves! 455 read 475 write, where i was getting 152 read and 147 write on a 7200rpm disk. The speeds are right on par with the big boys. Boot up time with windows 10 takes about 10 secs from a cold boot!, Apps open before you are finished clicking on the icons! Highly recommended, these SSD'S for the best bang for your buck! Will update review if anything changes!
