About this product

Taking inspiration from everything from hip-hop to pop and punk to metal, Point North are delivering a unique take on alternative rock that is unfortunately rarely seen in the genre. Brand New Vision, the band's debut album, is a concept album following the lead character InchDraxInch, a robot trying to navigate through everyday human experiences and emotions and features guest appearances by Sleeping With Sirens front man Kellin Quinn and up and coming LA artist De'Wayne. Point North is led by front man Jon Lundin, who also records, produces and engineers out of his Los Angeles based studio, and has credits on songs and albums from artists 5 Seconds of Summer, Good Charlotte, Sleeping With Sirens, The Faim, and more. Point North are also very involved in philanthropic activities. With Jon being able to record the album himself, the band took $10,000 from the album's recording budget and offered to match donations up to that amount to No Kid Hungry, a non-profit fighting child hunger. So far they have raised over $9,000 and plan on continuing to promote this throughout the album cycle.

Desperate times call for cathartic songs. Point North meets this need head-on with a heavy, yet hypnotic hybrid of chantable choruses, visceral screams, pummeling riffs, and airy soundscapes topped off with cinematic electronics. The Los Angeles trio incite the kind of singalongs that make you feel better right away and the band tightly hone this approach on their 2023 third full-length offering, Prepare For Despair. InchWe've always been an ever-changing band,Inch Jon observes. InchEvery holds it's own spot in our discography. Lately, I've produced a lot of heavy records. We grew up on Killswitch Engage and Underoath, and we've toured with a lot of heavy bands and have seen what works for us live. So, we wanted that energy.

2023 . Raven is the long-anticipated sequel to Kelela's impeccable studio debut. Kelela emerges from the tides of her higher self's oceanic orbit with a fifteen-track, continuous play album exploring autonomy, belonging and self-renewal as healing. With all the sonic, visual, and physical sensualism that magnetized her early core fanbase, Kelela's new album finds her more certain and at ease with her creative fluidity's exceptionality, no matter how high or wide it's waves.
