Pokémon - Trading Card Game: Mega Evolution - Pitch Black Booster Bundle

Normally I show up at 10am on release day and you can get an ETB even with a line of people who had been waiting since early morning (usually 8-9am), but I went during my lunch break at 12:30pm and was able to get a booster bundle (1 chaos rising and 1 pitch black). I appreciate Best Buy's strict per-person purchase limits so that there's still plenty of stock available for everyone during the day. It was 1 per person of everything they had, and 2 (or 4 I forgot) blister packs per person as well. No more ETBs. Really appreciate Best Buy enforcing those limits compared to Target where it's 2 per person so mainly the first 20-30 people in line get stuff and usually no one else... (unless you get lucky arriving during a restock).

There I was minding my own business at an electronic store when out of the wild appeared a Pitch Black booster bundle! While most in line reached for the Acsended Heroes bundle, I had to go hunting for that Darkrai! The Akira Igawa artwork is insane! So now the hardest part was to wait until I was off work and in my humble abode to rip these packs with my son. Hours and hours go by but there I was finally relaxed in my Pokemon office looking at my over excited boy ready to rip that plastic off! For being 5yo he’s so meticulous with his cards, went pack to pack hoping for the main chase. The second I seen the texture and dark colors from his 2nd to last card I knew it! Boom Mega Darkrai EX unlocked! Both of us were so filled with joy! Mark that down for a memory neither of us will forget!

Been doing pokemon for years and this set has some of the coolest cards I’ve ever seen. Very fun and satisfying to open these packs and I highly recommend. Great card quality coming from these boxes and it well worth the money you spend.

The art in this set is phenomenal! I really like the dark pokemon in this set. While Mega Darkrai may not be the most competitive card, it's really fun to play once you get the right setup in a match. Morpeko ex is also pretty sweet! I feel like the art in pokemon cards is second to none. You really can't go wrong, especially if you pay msrp. Good luck to everyone, I hope you pull your chase cards!

I’ve been trying to collect packs for my birthday but it’s getting hard to find packs In-store. I actually barely see anything other than single packs so I was happy I got lucky and got a booster bundle for the first time in a long time. I was also able to get four single packs when some stores limit to one. The seal looks great, the energy feels great, just waiting a few more weeks to rip it, but seems promising.
