I love polks sound. They have a warm tone and when I saw they were timbre matched for TSi series speakers (I own TSi-200 speakers) I knew what to expect and these meet that expectation. I ended up buying these as Atmos speakers for a 5.1.2 setup in my finished basement. I liked that the tweeters are directional. I have the crossovers on my receiver set to 90hz on these because while rated much lower, the output is weak. The install couldn't be easier, and the magnetic grills blend right in with a perfectly flush fit even with my textured ceiling. I did buy a large roll of R12 insulation meant for 2x4 walls to stuff in behind the speakers. I know without insulation they can have a tin sound and lack bass.

I am AMAZED at the sound of these speakers. I've been a fan of Polk Audio for years and these did not disappoint. I installed them in the ceiling of my dining room so I can listen to music while dining. The sound quality is clear and well balanced, bass response is surprising for a speaker this size. Installation was simple and the grille provided gives the installation a clean look. Great for jazz & Classical. Follow the advice of others who say to put some insulation behind the speaker when installing, to improve bass response. I used some thick carpet padding cut to size, worked perfectly.

Using these in my theater room for Dolby Atmos. They are fantastic for that reason. Great price (got them for 53.99) and great sound. My atmos Setup is insane now.

I bought two for my mini home cinema to use as top front atmos speakers. They are easy to install as they come with a template to cut in the ceiling. You just need a screw driver to install them. They sound nice and clear. They go well with my Polk signature series speakers I have for the other channels. The speaker cover is magnetic and looks awesome in white as it blends well enough into the ceiling and looks flush and modern.

I bought these to replace older in ceiling surround speakers. These come with aimable tweeters so pointing the sound from all 5 towards my couch was a breeze. The grills are very thin and are attached via a magnetic base. The sound is very good, even without adding additional insulation behind them.

Hubby installed 4 of these in our ceiling as replacement speakers. He is good at D.I.Y. so found it straight forward using a sheet rock saw. NB: he found hand screwing (they didn’t recommend a power drill) to engage the dog ears went on forever & the speakers are quite heavy to hold up in position with one hand while up a tall ladder: problem solved by me wedging an extension pole from ground up to the non vulnerable frame of the speaker which allowed hubby to rest his arms down occasionally. They look great. Incredible surround sound along with using our Polk center speaker as a 5.1.

Polk a well known brand that last and do what they are suppose to do, Without breaking the bank, bought these to support Dolby Atom also running Polk L/C/R in front, the rear surround another brand but sound very good alone with a Velodyne VX sub for added sound effects & bass. My theater has all Polk.

Easy to install and they look good. Sounds great for Atmos height speakers.

I have this speaker as a pair for my Atmos height. One word describes the quality of sound: awesome. I know that Polk makes good quality but I questioned how good they'd be. Never again will I do such a thing. Family is pleased as well. Everything sounds clear.

Using these on a 13' vaulted ceiling for Dolby Atmos speakers. Great sounding speakers for a good price. Using with a Yamaha TSR-700 receiver as a 5.1.2 system.

I bought this product with a doubt in mind whether this size 6.5" would be enough to provide the effect. It does. This is part of my rear left and right channel in my 5.1 set up. All I can say is I am very happy with the product and you can orient the tweeter to the listening area. Easy to set up and comes with a nice magnetic grill.

Purchased a pair for my rear surrounds and loved the ease of installation, flush look and great sound. Purchased another pair for my Dolby atmos speakers beacause of all of the above and the fact that the tweeter can be pivoted. Can’t see how any other speaker regardless of price can match these solid performers.

If you have access in your ceiling, these speakers are easy to install. I installed these devices as surround speakers for my TV room. The low-profile covers for the speakers make them disappear into the ceiling. Have had a number of visitors and I have to point out the speakers for them to be noticed. These speakers provide clear sound and make great surround speakers as well as all-channel stereo music to fill the room.

Just added these speakers as rear surrounds in my home theater. So far they are working great. The adjustable tweeter allows for the highs to be directed. The surround was just a little larger than I expected but was able to make it work. Seem to blend right into the walls.

Easy install and sounds great! Wanted to try some in-ceiling speakers for my first atmos setup and decided to give these a try after reading the reviews and would also recommend. The magnetic grill is a little larger than expected (about 9.5") but has a very thin bezel that blends into the ceiling well.

installed speakers for years and chose these for my "budget" system. They sound great, are easy to install, and look nice. Great for music or television. You can pay for higher end speakers like Definitive Technologies, but if money is a factor, these are excellent speakers in their own right.

Good sound, and install easily. Looks great installed in drop ceiling. I installed these in the ceiling of a retail store. Magnetic grill covers are a great feature.

I got a new 210 Watt per channel Onkyo for The Doghouse (my garage) and wanted some quality speakers to handle the power while putting out some crisp sound. GOT IT! These speakers exceeded my expectations and sound fantastic! I always wanted some Polks since I’ve heard them at friends house. I got 4 to augment my 2 floor speakers with the thought I might need a sub. NOPE!...the place has plenty of bass and the polks can handle the power of the Onkyo without distortion. What I really like is the fact that they’re ceiling speakers, not in my way, and have a better sound dispersion on that concrete floor than a vertical speaker. They look and sound Great! No regrets.

I bought a set of these for my home theater. It was good enough for height speakers. Very easy to install. I like how the tweeter can aim at the listener position
