Step back into one of Star Trek The Original Series' most memorable episodes with this highly detailed prop replica of the miniature U.S.S. Enterprise from InchCatspawInch (1967). Two miniature Enterprise props were originally crafted for the episode, both machined from aluminum. Prop A was encased in clear acrylic and has already been replicated by Factory Entertainment in a now sold-out edition. This is a replica of Prop B — the one famously held over a candle flame by the alien witch Sylvia to torment the crew, causing temperatures aboard the Enterprise to skyrocket. Due to its delicate aluminum construction, the original prop was prone to bending, and careful viewers can spot slight distortions in the miniature on-screen. Factory Entertainment has gone to extraordinary lengths to faithfully reproduce this iconic piece. Each replica was created with the assistance of a leading InchCatspawInch prop historian and machinist for maximum screen accuracy. Rather than aluminum, the replicas are machined from solid stainless steel for increased strength, durability, and lasting display quality. A custom display base is included for showcasing this eerie moment from Trek history. Whether you collect Star Trek memorabilia, appreciate vintage sci-fi practical effects, or love high-quality prop replicas, this is a hauntingly beautiful tribute to a unique moment in Trek lore. Includes a numbered Certificate of Authenticity and prop story booklet. For your safety — and the general wellbeing of any bewitched Starfleet crew — please do not dangle this replica over any open flames.
