Star Trek Lower Decks U.S.S. Cerritos Model Kit The animated series STAR TREK Lower Decks (TM) features the adventures of the USS Cerritos where life on a Federation ship isn't always as glorious as a hero like Captain Picard might make it seem. The spotlight focuses on Ensigns Beckett Mariner, Brad Boimler, Sam Rutherford, and D'vana Tendi who are responsible for mundane tasks such as ship maintenance and repairs. Although their usual duties confines them to less prestigious roles, their precocious energy to make a name for themselves as Federation officers often puts them center stage in the ship's mission. Led by Captain Carol Freeman, this California-class starship is tasked with second contact missions which involve following up on initial contact made by more prestigious starships. Despite its backup role, it is indisputable that teamwork, friendship, and the value of every member of the crew is a key motivating factor. What the USS Cerritos lacks in combat strength, it makes up for in heart! This 1 1400 scale plastic model kit offers an excellent representation of this iconic starship's distinctive saucer and nacelle design. It includes all the pieces needed to build a detailed replica of the USS Cerritos, complete with authentic full-color water-slide decals. The kit comes molded in translucent plastic and equipped with plenty of clear parts to provide everything necessary for custom lighting. Achieve a higher level of authenticity with the USS Cerritos Aztec Decal Set from Polar Lights (sold separately).
