About this product
Originally released digitally as two separate volumes in 2022, Wonderwheel is happy to present a 12Inch of Populous' InchMoonbahtonsInch - a collection of dark reggaeton and moonbahton style dance floor tracks influenced by the magic & mystery of the zodiac. Cuts inspired by the zodiac, magic, and mystery of the universe. Things kick off with InchFlauta Magica,Inch focusing around the clave and a brooding synth line and a dembow style beat interweaving itself with the flute & a little bit of acid vibes for good measure, while InchSapo,Inch a distant, foreboding track with a monster of a beat & bassline complimenting a childlike fairy tale melody on top. On the flip, InchGlass DubplateInch is a percussive track with emotive pads, a melody reminiscent of finger piano and synth bleeps, while InchBerlinese DubplateInch goes into tougher, late night territory with deep bass, roiling percussion and dubby electronics. Album Tracks 1. Flauta Magica 2. Sapo 3. Glass Dubplate 4. Berlinese Dubplate

Vinyl LP pressing. Pod Blotz began in 2002 and has released over 25 cassette and vinyl releases. Over the years the project has included a number of guest members and performance artists, but has solely remained the brainchild of Suzy Poling. The prolific experimentalist now makes her Dais debut with the emotionally crushing Transdimensional System. Recorded at Poling's downtown LA studio and produced at Seahorse Sound Studios, Poling made use of sounds and samples collected from the Vintage Synthesizer Museum in Oakland, CA. The record twists and turns throughout space like a writhing exorcism unfurling upon the unsuspecting listener. It's a journey about beauty, and the complexity of post-human existence through a cathartic lens of churning rhythms and haunting vocal work. Album Tracks 1. Pain Is a Door 2. Industrialized Living Effects 3. Extrasensory 4. Unified Totality 5. Life Like An Electric Surge 6. Double Helix 7. Lights in the Middle of Nowhere 8. Transforming Dna
