About this product
Seven million zombies. One city in ruins. Only Four survivors. Inch28 DAYS LATERInch meets InchRECInch ! When a mysterious infection spreads through Buenos Aires, the city collapses into chaos. Told through four different points of view, PORTRAITS OF THE APOCALYPSE follows ordinary people trapped in extraordinary horror -- a journalist, a soldier, a mother, and a stranger -- each fighting to survive as the dead reclaim the streets. From the first outbreak to the desperate final stand, the film paints a raw and emotional portrait of humanity pushed to its breaking point. Written and directed by Nicanor Loreti, Fabián Forte, and Luca Castello, three leading voices of Latin American genre cinema (When Evil Lurks, Diablo, Punto Rojo, Kriptonita), PORTRAITS OF THE APOCALYPSE reimagines the zombie outbreak through a distinctly South American lens. This feature also brings together the two lead actors from WHEN EVIL LURKS -- the Shudder and Netflix hit that became the most acclaimed Latin American horror film of recent years and winner of Sitges 2023. This marks the first time Demián Salomón and Ezequiel Rodríguez reunite on screen, delivering another gripping and visceral performance within a world collapsing under the weight of the undead.

This 'found footage' will reveal the shocking series of events. This is their home movie. Adrian Pasdar of Heroes and Cady McClain of All My Children and As the World Turns star in this critically acclaimed and ferociously disturbing debut feature from writer/director Christopher Denham that rips open the dark side of the modern American family.
