This 10 in. 2,200 watt Gothic Series 2-Ohm Dual Voice-Coil Subwoofer from Power Acoustik use torsion-twisted flax fibers that are woven together for ultimate strength and less elasticity. A heavy soaking in epoxy combined with the sonic qualities of pulp paper, flax proves itself worthy of any system. A strong and flexible heat-resistant compound, nitrile butadiene rubber is used widely in automotive applications. Gothic woofers also utilize an extended excursion NBR surround for its strength and flexible properties during extreme movement.
Q: Can this sun be ran with a 1 ohm stable audiopipe 1000 watt amp
A: No. It has to be 4ohm subs.
Q: Whats would be the best amp to run 2 of the gothic gw3-12
A: These are dual 2ohm. So you want to find an amplifier that produces up to 2000rms at .5 or 2ohm.
A: yes that amp will work and sound decent but the sub would be under powered! i’ve got a power acoustic razor 2500 watt powering one 12 and it hits hard!! had 2 of the 12’s on that amp but needed a bigger amp so i deleted one sub until i can upgrade my amp
