Having 3 kids that are similar age range and wanting to have a turn at sonic or beating up baddies in lego this control is very economical and feels for the most part like the orginal controller. The best part is that its powered by the console USB. So you dont need to spend on replacement batteries. Down fall your going to have a setup where the cable can reach, but I over cae that with USB cable extender I had laying around from my pc.

Purchased for teenager. He says it works great. Very convenient because he doesn't have to worry about the battery running low and I'm happy I don't have to keep buying batteries or a charging station:) A tiny bit bulkier than the wireless controller that came with the console so it takes some getting used to. Not a deal breaker. Cord is more than of sufficient length. One downside is that you can't attach a chat pad but it's ok considering it (~$30) was much less expensive than the wireless controller. (~$50).

This is your basic wired controller and is compatible with the Xbox one at a fraction of the price. We have been through numerous controllers over the past couple years because something always breaks or gets stuck. I've given up on buying the Microsoft ones because these offbrand companies provide just as good of a product for less money and I like to spend less money because let's face it when teenagers are playing video games they are very hard on controllers and regardless of how much you pay for them they're going to take a beating. I have stopped buying wireless controllers because something always breaks inside the charging port rendering the wireless controller unusable unless I want to spend more money and buy battery packs that can be taken out and put on a charger and then put back into the controller. No thanks I'll stick with the wire.

I'm a total PC gamer using my MSI GT80s Titan gaming laptop with Windows10. Had trouble in the past using wireless controllers that would eventually have connection problems by suffering random disconnections. The PowerA wired Xbox1 controller is lightweight, responsive and very durable at a very reasonable price! And the simple 'Plug and Play' interface with no additional software or drivers is A1! Only purchased 1 controller before a family member of mine began visiting and gaming with me. Needed a second controller and made a bee line for another PowerA Xbox1 wired controller!

Needed a wired controller for both X-Box and PC for gaming purposes. Good price and value - seems to be holding up well with heavy usage.

This controller was just what I needed. Works as expected and planning to purchase one more. Great price too.

The controller is light -- much lighter than the wireless xBox one controllers that we own. It has a textured plastic enclosure that I don't like the feel of, but I wouldn't consider that a big fault. The wire is permanently attached to the controller, so there will be no replacing it if it gets broken -- and it can't pull free if someone trips over it. I have attached a short USB extension to the end so that it will come apart there and not at the controller or at the xBox input. It is a cheap feeling product, but works perfectly. If it holds up for long enough (we'll see), then it is worth the money.

We are a family of 3. We have 2 wireless controllers. I never thought we needed a third one until I bought Overcooked. I didn't see many games on Xbox that I am interested in and that would require 3 controllers so I didn't want to invest $40+ on a wireless controller but I still needed one. That's when I came across this wired controller. This is an affordable controller that has a long enough wire to play from about 6 feet. It is lighter and well built. The buttons (X, Y, A, B) are not smooth, meaning for quick actions in a game, you may have to hard-press the buttons multiple times unlike Wireless controller which can get it done in much less effort. Having said that, it got the job done so no major complaints. I wouldn't use this for serious gaming though.

You don't have to spend a ton to get this great quality xbox controller. It works great on my sons Win10 pc.

The controller may call out itself with the lower price tag, and you get what you decide to pay for. Let's start out with the bad aspect of the controller, it is bulkier than an official Xbox One controller. It makes it harder for someone with small hands like myself to push the top shoulder buttons and the menu buttons on the face of the controller. I sometimes have to migrate my hand over to the buttons to press them. Some good aspects is that its wired so you do not have to worry about batteries. The back of the controller has a nice textured grip, so it should remain seated in your hands for long play sessions. The buttons despite what I said above feel responsive, and are easy to press as well. It also works with PC games. As stated above, you get what you pay for, and with the controller, you get some bad and some good. Just your average 3rd party controller (3rd party means anything not made by the console manufacturer) and it does its designed job. Pick this up if you want a cheap, but working controller for your Xbox One or PC

After so many wireless ones I finally got this one - it can't be misplaced, sat on & broken etc. because the cord is only so long. Works as expected and was cheaper than the wired.

Have had no problems with this controller - it connected and installed on my PC with no issues at all - and cant beat the price!
