About this product
Legendary guitarist John Ricci of Exciter returns with his new band, Powerrage. Alongside Ricci are bassist Todd Pilon (formerly of Witchkiller), drummer Lucas Dery, and singer Jacques Bélanger, who was featured on the three Exciter albums. Powerrage's music is difficult to describe, but in addition to ultra-heavy doom/death metal, there are also Exciter influences and parallels to early Mercyful Fate. The eight tracks on Beast were recorded with the help of John Ricci's longtime friend and producer Manfred Leidecker and mixed by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studio. When you listen to uncompromisingly hard tracks like InchDark Wings,Inch InchHaunted Hell,Inch or the almost punk-sounding (and somewhat reminiscent of the unique Amebix) InchI Torture I Kill,Inch it quickly becomes clear that Powerrage is indeed a new beginning.

Canadian deathcore pioneers deliver relentless technical precision, crushing heaviness, and unmatched intensity.
All hail the kings of denim! Since the mid-90s, Norway's Nocturnal Breed has spread terror and destruction through the metal scene with their extreme take on blackened thrash metal, and they still do with their 7th album, InchCarry the BeastInch. Nocturnal Breed is now a trio consisting of S.A. Destroyer, T. Terror and I. Maztor, but they're shredding like ever before, and have even thrown in some awesome old-school heavy metal in the mix. So, there's a small evolution in the sound, without straying too much from the path. This is pure Nocturnal Breed delivering it yet again for all the Speed Metal Legions! This album mirrors a lot of the darker sides of humanity that have crept to the forefront thes last 2-3 years. And it shows in the intensity and vileness bleeding through this composition. Recorded without modern equipment, the sound of this creation is mercilessly unbridled and raw as a war wound. A wholehearted look back at what inspired the band and the extreme metal scene. As the band says Give'em Hell, take no S**t from anyone, and Carry the Beast with splendour your own way! METAL TO THE BONE!SELLING POINTS- 7th album from the legendary Nocturnal Breed- Old-school school heavy metal combined with pristine thrash metal- For fans of Aura Noir, Audiopain, Nifelheim + + +1.
