I had this game a long time ago and played with my friend Julian. We loved it, and I bought it for my father and grandmother to play. They love it as well and it's not too difficult for new gamers (except that SPOILER ALERT**** Star World!)

Super Mario Bros Wii is pretty much the same as the old school super mario NES games with fun twists. Like the new flying cap where you have to flick the controller to get him to fly and jumping off walls. One of the staple games for the Nintendo Wii.

Works very well with wii-u mini. Sometimes I feel the cd gets stuck momentarily, but honestly that can be ignored. Overall I am satisfied with the game and it's really fun playing Mario always :-)

My 6 year old loves this game, although it seems to get quite challenging early on in the game. I even have trouble consistently getting past the 2nd castle :O. But fun none-the-less.

This game is extremely reminiscent of the classic NES titles from back in the day with the graphical updates that were started on the DS version. The two games are not the same, but rather two completely individual games with their own worlds, story, and characters. The wii version does look nicer on the larger screen and better graphics that the wii can provide. Its a fun game that i would recommend to casual gamers or mario fans.

The layout and style of this game seem rather retro to me. I've played through the first 3 worlds, and I'd say it's rather entertaining. I'm going to keep at it, and my review score may go up. I'm a huge fan of Mario though, so I remain hopeful!

Mario has been somewhat disappointing since the awesomeness of "Super Mario World" on super NES. This game turns that around with exciting challenging levels and creative characters. This game was very entertaining taking me back to the world of Mario.

What can I say? It's another Super Mario Bros game. The graphics and sound are on base for what I'd expect from the Wii, the control and gameplay are as good as always. It's arguably too easy and short, but again, it's a Mario Bros game. If you like side scrolling Super Mario Bros games, you'll like this one. If you don't, you won't.

a little different from the old old NES version but for someone who doesn't play a lot go games i can't complain about it at all.

While it isn't as easy to play as the original, my kids love to play this!

I recently bought a wii mini for my child because I wanted to get him something classic. I wanted to get him a Mario game but all the games were so expensive still and I happened to come across this gamed, used. The game itself was still in really good condition and my child has been playing it non-stop. It's a classic Mario game so it's going to be rally fun. And it was a lot cheaper than the new one.

The multiplayer is fun and allows teamwork to reach hard to access areas. Very fun!

for the very mario game where 4 people can simultaneously play on the same screen, this is really something that's better left as an idea as it could be really hectic trying to complete each level. we stuck with 2 players at most at any given time as to not get in each other's way. i'm glad to find that old mario support characters like yoshi make a return but was sad to see that there wasn't any difference in their abilities based on the skin color as was the case with super mario world back on super nintendo. graphics are decent at best as the wii is no power house and is completely maxed out at 480p. those of you with big screen hd tvs will easily notice the pixelation in the graphics. it's no eye candy fest and luckily the gameplay is very solid, which is something nintendo has done a good job of with just about every release of mario including the 3d ones.
