You must be very careful to read the instructions, and test fit each step. That said, it is a great looking piece of furniture, and the rail installation hides itself, making for a very clean look. The cable pathways are almost perfect. The only problem is getting your hand and arm behind the lower shelf to snake the cables in from the bottom (coming from the top is easy, but if the cable end is to big, like some AC to DC power converters, you must snake it from the bottom). As the picture I've uploaded shows the unit under the TV, and next to it to the right is the Media tower from the same company (PrePac). I still have to mount the power strip and then wrap the power cables under the unit, but your get the idea. Overall, this is a GREAT piece, and, I would recommend it to anyone!

We bought this along with our 65" TV with the intent of mounting the TV on the wall and this below it to store the AV components. After installing it we realized we didn't really need to wall mount the TV as it looks great sitting right on top of this unit. We love how it hangs on the bracket and is easily removed if needed to add or remove components. It is very sturdy and looks beautiful. It hides most of the mess of cords as well as the outlet and power strip. We followed the installation height recommendation in the instructions, but now wish we would have raised it a couple of inches so we could slide the subwoofer underneath. It was easy to assemble and not too difficult to install on the wall. The hardest part was screwing the bracket into the wall with an Allen wrench. That took a lot of muscle that I don't have, but luckily my husband did (it looked exhausting). The top three cubbies easily hold our center channel speaker, DVD player, cable box, and receiver. We were worried about the receiver fitting because it is quite tall, but it fits perfectly. The bottom cubbies we use for displaying pictures and holding our small collection of 3D movies. We could do a better job of hiding the cords, but it's hard to get all of them up in there. We recommend using cable ties to gather all the cords before hanging the unit on the bracket. It would be nice if it included some removable black panels to hide the cords in the back of the unit. As you can see in the attached picture, the cords are visible in the back of the unit. A removable panel would help hide those. All in all, we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend it.

Perfect for my guest bedroom! I love it. It's both fashionable and functional. It allows much more floor space than a traditional tv stand.

Went together easy and was simple to mount. Looks better in person than any of the pictures I had seen. You won't be disappointed.
