This percolator must come standard in a Barbie house, tiny tiny tiny, if 6 cups equals 48 ounces no way, get the 12 cup or you’ll be brewing 2 pots to get 3 cups of coffee, not happy.

I've wanted to try a percolator style for a long time. Most drip coffee makers are all plastic. I don't make a full pot of coffee anyway and so the smaller yield of an automatic percolator works for me. I've used single cup percolators before, so I was at least familiar with the system. Not a big fan of the of included filters. they are great for easy removal, but when trying to fill with grounds, its a bit messy. There are disk filters for the ground basket that I want to give a go, as not using an sort of filter does leave the coffee a bit gritty. I have found it is best to wait an additional couple of minutes once the brewing process is complete to give the coffee a bit more time to get hot. Unplugging it after that it will stay hot for about an hour then start to cool off. One thing to note that while the pot produces 6 cups of coffee, that is based off of 5 ounces of brewed coffee. The average mug is between 10 and 12 ounces. So you are looking at about 3 mugs of coffee. Fun fact standard drip coffee makers use 8 ounces for a "cup" of coffee. If you drink coffee with creamer then you get a higher cup yield since you have to leave room in your mug. But I drink mine black, so I get about 2 to 3 mugs of coffee.

This is a good buy for the money. I would prefer to have a glass knob on the top so I could see the coffee perking. I haven't used a percolator in years, so it is taking a little time to adjust the coffee to water ratio to suit my taste. Also, the large paper filters that came with the coffee maker are a bit bulky to use. I am looking for a better alternative filter.

Perfect for 1-3 people. This is my second stainless steel coffee maker. No plastic makes a better cup of coffee. Especially my organic brand. Enjoy

The coffee is stronger and not as watery, but....this one is small. I think there are ones out there that requires less fighting to balance center piece.

Makes every morning easy and enjoyable. Much more efficient and produces higher quality coffee than the larger coffee electric perculators. Definitely worth the value.

its NOT a 6 cup coffee maker! about 3 cups..... im returning it and it makes me mad that they even sell it. I assume there is no quality control to see that what they sell at Best Buy actually fits the description.
