After 20+ years of use, my wife's slow cooker gave up the ghost. With dread, I went looking for a replacement. I thought one might cost in excess of $50, but this deal came in under $20. It seems as good as the old one, so if it lasts even half that long we will be happy. The controls are basic and no more complicated than necessary.

Downsized from 6 qt. Nice size but small enough for easy storage.

I've only used the slow cooker a few times but it's a great size for a family of four.

I will say this slow cooker is toooo slow. To cook brow rice it took more than 14 hours. I think mainly because of ceramic... I will recommend rather look for other slow cookers available in similar price range.

The slow cooker takes very long to heat up. I boiled soup using the slow cooker and it takes 2 hours for the water to boil (ps: hot water is used to boil soup).
