The back rest wobbles side to side to side and it feels precarious/dangerous but ive tried shoving foam or something into where the adjuster wobbles within the main pipe and it still doesnt fix it. Also, if doing any inclined chest press, it is just not doable on this bench unless you have a spotter. Since the seat is not adjustable, just the back rest, it causes the bar to be way to far back to safely grab it and bring above your chest/neck/head.

All of the parts are cheaply made (guess where) and some of the parts were of unacceptable quality. That being said, it supported my weight at 250 lbs. but I am not going to test the 310 pound capacity (yes, ONLY 310 pounds) because parts# 6 and 11 (backrest and seat) are so cheaply made it's laughable. Part# 29, the top left (weight rest), was improperly machined and did not fit at all into the top slot of part# 1 (upright). Part# 8 showed visible signs of rust. Parts# 4 and 7 (leg lever & pivot bracket) are so flimsy that when you work out they swivel left to right and that is how it was engineered and designed. I torqued everything correctly. I have not used this a lot because it just was so underwhelming in quality. Poor Quality, Excellent Value, Good ease of use. You get what you pay for.

The bench is extremely unstable. I do not know how to return it though. It’s impossible to lift properly with how unsafe and unstable the bench is

good home gym bench especially for the beginner. easy to put together and use. my only initial complaint was the wobble of the backrest when laying on it. But once your use to it isn't an issue.

Best gift given to someone and easy to build definitely buy a Matt fir underneath but other than that great

I just recently purchased this item last week. The backrest is wobbling and very dangerous. It makes it difficult to even try to bench press. Also if you are not a certain height, your feet barely will touch the ground when trying to use this item! This item should be taken off of the website or the parts should be fixed!!
