Project Songbird is a first-person cinematic narrative psychological horror game from Conner Rush and his studio FYRE Games, the developer behind the critically praised games Summerland and We Never Left (from Dread X Collection 5). Take control of Dakota, a career musician who, amidst writer's block, decides to isolate them self in a cabin in the remote Appalachian forest in order to record their next album. Take in this gripping tale, explore the natural environment and haunting dreamscapes, and fight to survive in this short horror experience. Project Songbird combines the narrative focus and atmosphere of a walking sim with the tense, weighty gameplay and puzzles of a survival horror game. On this nightmarish journey, you'll venture into the Appalachian forest, as well as surreal nightmare escapes, all presented in a cinematic, realistically stylized, beautifully realized first-person perspective. The combat of Project Songbird offers a variety of approaches inspired by the classics of the survival horror genre. Melee and gunplay is slow and weighty, and ammo is incredibly scarce. However, combat isn't your only option, as you have a multitude of tools at your disposal to aid in sneaking past any creatures that wish to do you harm.
