About This Item

In 1993 Propagandhi recorded their first album, How to Clean Everything, and released it via a then fledgling Fat Wreck Chords. Needless to say the album was hugely successful at not only putting the tag on the map, but even more so, at establishing Propagandhi as a massive force in the punk scene. Leaning more toward the skate punk tradition than the band's current work, How To Clean Everything was a clear launch point for Propagandhi, filled with aggressive metal riffs and a young snarky delivery of lyrics about human rights, equality, and radical left - wing politics. Singer/Guitarist Chris Hannah, explains his reasoning for this reissue (with a twinge of his beloved sarcastic wit) InchMaybe it's the bath - salts talking, but I have come to believe that there is value in having something that haunts you until you are dead. I give you... How To Clean Everything, the 20th anniversary edition.Inch The reissue includes the full original album, the 3 outtakes that Fat Mike cut from the initial record, and a super rare 4 - song HTCE demo. Of course the album was re-mastered from the original analog reels as well. Album Tracks 1. Anti-Manifesto 2. Head? Chest? or Foot? 3. Hate, Myth, Muscle, Etiquette 4. Showdown (G.E./P.) 5. Ska Sucks 6. Middle Finger Response 7. Stick the Fucking Flag Up Your Goddam Ass, You Sonofabitch 8. Haille Sellasse, Up Your Ass 9. F**k Machine 10. This Might Be Satire 11. Who Will Help Me Bake This Bread? 12. Pigs Will Pay 13. Homophobes Are Just Pissed 'Cause They Can't Get Laid 14. Leg - Hold Trap 15. I Want U 2 Vant Me 16. Middle Finger Response (Demo Version)* 17. Hate, Myth, Muscle, Etiquette (Demo Version)* 18. This Might Be Satire (Demo Version)* 19. F**k Machine (Demo Version)

Deftones - Around the Fur - VINYL LP
    4.6(11)

Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening InchMy Own Summer (Shove It),Inch serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to InchHeadup,Inch while InchMXInch finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality. Vocal acrobat Moreno attacks a variety of styles his breathy, psychotic recitations sound downright industrial, while the album's calmer, more brooding moments show his gift for haunting melody. Behind him, guitarist Stephen Carpenter's heavy wall of sound is astoundingly muscular, yet inspiringly agile. When Deftones' hellish fury hits full tilt, as it always does on this album, Moreno's voice erupts into screams which are best described as otherworldly, transforming this intense musical firestorm into a hurtling juggernaut of aggression. This LP version comes pressed on 180 gram vinyl. Album Tracks 1. My Own Summer (Shove It) 2. Lhabia 3. Mascara 4. Around the Fur 5. Rickets 6. Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away) 7. Lotion 8.
