Questions & Answers
  • Can the Pyle - 2.1-Channel 200 watt stereo support a phonograph?

Yes — the PDA7BU 2.1-channel 200W stereo amplifier can work with a phonograph (turntable), but only under certain conditions. If your phonograph has: ✔ Built-in preamp (PHONO/LINE switch) → you can connect it directly to the AUX input ✔ Line-level output (RCA out) → it will also connect normally ❌ If it is a pure PHONO output only (no preamp) → you will need an external phono preamp before connecting it to the PDA7BU Simple setup: Turntable → (optional phono preamp if needed) → RCA AUX input on PDA7BU → speakers/subwoofer So the key factor is not the amplifier, but whether your turntable already boosts the signal to line level.
