I bought this rear view camera system for my vehicle after my old Pyle monitor died after years. I bought this one because of the brand and price. I thought it would be the same as my old one and that I would be able to just plug in the camera wire. Since the other wires are already done and installed. But this one has a different cable that just won’t fit! I would of needed to replace the red wire that goes back somewhere to the break light and I didn’t want to mess with it. Since it took both my husband and me to set it up years ago. So I ended up returning it. We installed a touch screen stereo with the option to use as a monitor for the back camera. Turns out it still works what when bad was the original monitor in the old Pyle system. So I didn’t need to replace any wires like I would of with this Pyle product.

It is a great product , but mirror is kind of dark when camera is not in use.

The camera hangs on your rearview, which is fine, but it is dark, a person cannot use the rearview. There is also no way to brighten or lighten. When my truck is in reverse, the picture is right side up, but halfway into my garage, the picture is upside down. The picture is upside down half the time! I have attempted to use it the month I have had it, but it will be coming out of my truck this Saturday!

Quick, through, professional instillation..It almost looks like original factory equipment.
