The QIDI Box is a 4-channel multi-color and multi-material filament system for the QIDI Q2 and Q2C. Load up to four spools and the system switches between them automatically during printing, with individual channel indicator lights showing which filament is active at any moment. Active drying reaches 65 degrees C while you print, keeping moisture-sensitive materials such as PA, PETG, and PVA dry for consistent quality and fewer failed prints from damp filament. Hardened steel dual gears and four dedicated stepper motors feed everything from basic PLA to abrasive carbon fiber and glass fiber composites smoothly and reliably. RFID recognition identifies spools and matches print settings automatically, while run-out, tangle, and clog detection with auto-refill keep long jobs running unattended. Chain up to four units for up to 16 colors or materials in a single print. This is the dedicated Q2 version and ships with the matching hub and signal cable for out-of-the-box installation, and it also works with the QIDI Q2C. QIDI Box units are model specific and are not interchangeable across printer model groups, so please confirm your printer model before ordering. The compact 357 x 300 x 234 mm housing is made of durable ABS and PC, with sealed storage, real-time temperature and humidity display, and desiccant support between prints.
