Q: It says a 2-Year Subscription. Does that mean the program only works for 2 years or 2 years of free upgrades and tech support or what???

A: After two years the product will still work and you can access your data, but product updates and other online services such as bank transaction downloads will no longer function unless you renew the subscription.

Q: Can i buy this now but use it sometime next yr? My current Quicken Deluxe still has support till sometime next yr.

A: I am in the same situation. I am planning to buy it now, but not install and activate it for a while. It seems as though Quicken often has a lot of bugs during the initial release. I'll wait until R1 at least - or until they stop supporting Quicken 2015.

Q: Does this version come with a CD or is it a download only?

A: If you are buying at a retail store (in a box), the box comes with a CD and an activation code inside. So, you'll be able to install the CD or just download using the enclosed activation code inside. Quicken download versions do not come with a CD automatically; the download will remain available in your Quicken account, so you can download again if necessary. Thanks.

Q: What is the fee for the 2 year subscription? I assume it is in addition to the actual purchase of the software. I am purchasing for a small non-profit association.

A: The purchase price for the 2-year product covers you for two years. There are no other fees to activate your subscription.

Q: I have a laptop $ desktop Do I need to to order a Subscription for each?

A: Quicken 2018 license allows installation on up to 3 computers.

Q: What does the subscription relate to? I'm not planning on uploading or downloading other than software updates you may provide.

A: As with all items these days they all require a subscription. Ultimately you can use Quicken 2016 Windows and Mac until April 30, 2019 per Quicken online at which time they will stop all support but your data file would still be available and as I understand it you would still be able to enter transactions manually. You would need the subscription to use any online aspect, to get updates/support, and use on any mobile devices. I have also read the an expire subscription service would still leave you with your file on your local computer but would stop all update aspects, automatic downloads of your financial info, and you wouldn't have access to your info via any mobile devices. Use would be specific to the desktop with the program/file.

Q: How many times can this program be downloaded on to other Window laptops, assuming that I purchased it in store? I specifically want the actual CD & product code, so that I may be able to download the program on more than 1 laptop. Thank you in advance!
