For it's inclusion as known Schumann's keyboard works like the InchScenes from ChildhoodInch and InchForest ScenesInch of the fortepiano expert January Vermeulen tried to Schumann's metronome markings to get as close as possible. The result is as surprising as it is convincing, especially when one is ready to give an automatism and cherished listening habits. As an instrument it is a wonderful wing from the workshop of Johann Nepomuk Tröndlin (1790-1862) are available, the pianos in the Viennese tradition built in Leipzig and it's instruments Schumann would certainly have known. His sound combines a warm and singing middle register, sonorous depth and a clear treble.

Astor Piazzolla's Tango Suite, for two guitars, is one of the finest duo works in the repertoire, offering fireworks and percussive effects as well as exquisite melancholy. Yuri Liberzon has arranged the much-loved Oblivion for guitar, while Leo Brouwer's arrangement of La muerte del angel is full of vivacity and colour. Cinco piezas was Piazzolla's first work for classical guitar; the Tango-etudes, originally for flute, shows the guitar's range and versatility in Manuel Barrueco's arrangement. Tango No. 2 from Tango Suite will be pre-released as a digital single on 9.50323 on 30 August.
