Rainbow Kitten Surprise - Love Hate Music Box - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2018 . Rainbow Kitten Surprise and all five of it's members hail from the mountains of Boone, North Carolina. With chilling harmonies, dynamic instrumentation, and introspective lyrics, their genre-defying sound takes influence from artists like Modest Mouse and Kings of Leon as much as Frank Ocean and Schoolboy Q. Independently, they have over 75 million streams across digital platforms, and notched over 45 sold out shows on their first U.S. headline tour. Their engaging and distinct live performances have led to stand out sets at festivals such as Bonnaroo, Firefly, Shaky Knees, Hangout, Sasquatch, and Austin City Limits among others. The band worked with Grammy award-winning producer Jay Joyce (Cage The Elephant, Sleeper Agent) on their Elektra debut, How to Friend, Love, Freefall.

Genre-bending live sensations Rainbow Kitten Surprise present their most collaborative and quintessentially Rainbow Kitten Surprise work yet on their new full length album, bones. Working once again with GRAMMY-winning producer Jay Joyce (Lainey Wilson, Orville Peck, Cage the Elephant) for the first time since 2018's HOW TO FRIEND, LOVE, FREEFALL, the record is both an incredible return to form and distinct elevation from their previous releases. After last year's return with LOVE HATE MUSIC BOX, the North Carolina quartet's first record in 6 years, RKS continue to prove themselves as one of the industry's most exciting acts across the 10 captivating tracks of bones.

Subway Morgue feels like Van Halen reimagined by a tribe of rat people-a mutated take on classic rock for those who've lost their way. - InchDescriptionInch Inch In a music realm that often feels as exciting as watching paint dry, Henrik Palm revitalizes the mundane, injecting life with the grim and unsettling. While InchPoverty MetalInch blazed a trail, InchNerd IconInch takes a deeper plunge into shadowy themes, exploring the space between the sinister and the sublime, echoing a life less touched by joy. Guitars command attention, sound captivates focus, and the vision remains transparent, driven by an unbridled spirit. In these times, where artistic offerings often lack substance, Henrik's third album under his name bursts forth with brilliance, offering a raw, soul-baring experience. It's music that transcends and explodes within the recesses of your mind, shattering boundaries and obliterating limitations.
