Ram-Zet - Sapien - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

After more than a decade away from the spotlight, the band is officially back in action, reigniting their unique blend of progressive and avantgarde metal. Following the of their last album in 2012, Ram-Zet entered a long hiatus, with members pursuing different creative paths and only appearing sporadically on stage. But after 13 years, founder, guitarist, and songwriter Henning InchZetInch Ramseth felt the time was right to breathe new life into the project. The band reunited, and what began as a spark of inspiration quickly became a full-scale resurrection. Over the past two years, Ram-Zet has worked intensively on new material and triumphantly returned to the live stage in the summer of 2024. The line-up has seen some changes since their last . Longtime keyboardist Karoline InchKaInch Amb stepped away as activity ramped up, paving the way for Kai InchAazuuInch Renton (known from Trollfest) to join on keys. Meanwhile, violinist Ingvild InchSareetaInch Johannesen has returned after an extended break, adding her signature touch to the band's sound once again. Fans can expect the band's trademark fusion of intensity, complexity, and atmosphere, delivered with renewed energy and vision. Stay tuned, Ram-Zet is back, and the next chapter begins now.

Limited twelve inch vinyl pressing. Portland’s Pressing On is comprised of members of the late and great Talk Is Poison, as well as From Ashes Rise and the still-going Raw Nerves. The band released a small number of cassettes in 2015 - essentially a rougher version of this vinyl but No Defeat No Capitulation has been mixed loud and clear and remastered for maximum impact. Expect nothing less than anthemic and defiant hardcore punk. An undeniable clenched-fist-pumper, No Defeat No Capitulation retains a strong sense of melody in that great Talk Is Poison style but the band defines their own sound.
