About this product
Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Having established their name as one of the finest in modern British metal, thanks to two brilliant albums, 2019's Conspiracy and Darkness Will Rise debut in 2017, The Raven Age have garnered over 75 million streams worldwide. Blood Omen pushes everything further than ever before. The choruses are made for arenas, the riffs are taut, direct, and free of fat. It all makes for a grand musical stage on which the record's concept plays out. 'Forgive & Forget' rushes in on a scalding lead guitar riff, while the epic 'Nostradamus' is a tale of the great prophet. The heavy, raging 'Serpents Tongue', meanwhile, deals with Inchdeceit, and never knowing if you're being told the truth,Inch according to George. This motivation is written into the album's concept. Following the theme of it's two predecessors, the raven motif looms large, this time centering on the overthrowing of old masters, with the band's Raven King character coming to prominence. Even in the artwork, things are bolder, a close up of The Raven King, says George, Inchtaking his rightful place on the throne.InchTo capture all this on record, the band enlisted the help of long-term producer Matt Hyde (Slipknot, Machine Head, Bullet For My Valentine) to lay down the album's framework, before setting to recording the rest of the album themselves. The final mastering was put into the treasured hands of Mika Jussila at Finnvox (Nightwish, Children of Bodom, HIM).

High Roller Records, ltd 500, 425gsm heavy cardboard cover, insert, download code, Vultures Vengeance are an upcoming epic metal band in the tradition of Cirith Ungol, Manilla Road and Brocas Helm. They formed in Rome in 2009 and after one demo and two EPs released their first full-length record »The Knightlore« in 2019. The album received encouraging reviews in the underground scene all over the world and is now being followed by »Dust Age«, their debut for High Roller Records. Tony T. Steele, guitarist and singer of the band, explains what happened with Vultures Vengeance after the »The Knightlore« in 2019 InchWe recorded »Dust Age« in October 2020 but in the mean time Covid had arrived and we had to cancel many shows around Europe. So we decided to wait because we wanted to play live after the , and we had many problems with the line-up because Tony L.A. and Matt Savage decided to quit the band. The research for a new bass player and a new guitarist extended the time for the of the new album even further.Inch He continues InchThe album was recorded with the old line-up, except for the drummer, Damian. We recorded it at the 16 Cellar Studio in Rome and after that we worked with Marco S. Vermiglio of The Forge studio in Sweden for the mix.Inch Steele doesn't see the new album as a direct continuation of »The Knightlore« InchI think the approach is different, but at the same time the mark of Vultures Vengeance is totally recognizable and not so far away from what we have done in the past.Inch According to him Inchthe dust age is the vision of a future world in ruins as a consequence of the modern world.Inch He explains in more detail InchThe lyrical themes are different for each song, and they are all allegories of a vision of the modern world told through imaginary tales of war, slavery, corruption and power. If you share these visions, it wouldn't be too di
Rage of Samedi is a German Doom and Sludge Metal band formed in 2012. Started as a project the founding members Sam D. Durango (guitars/backing vocals), Lou Cifer (vocals), Paul 'Hate' McKay (bass) and Ian O'Field (drums) found out really fast, that they should do more out of it than just a project. Deeply influenced by Classic Doom bands of the 70s, early 80s to the modern Sludge scene, this band gives their own DOOM a very special touch. Above time Rage of Samedi got support shows for bands like Karma To Burn, Crowbar, Dopethrone, Opium Lord, Witchsmeller Pursuivant, King Heavy, Iron Void, Lord Vicar, Three Eyes Left, Void Of Sleep, Toner Low, Mammoth Mammoth and played shows across many European countries. Latest they played the Malta Doom Fest 2017 and the famous Freak Valley Festival in 2018.
Long-overdue vinyl reissue of the cult lone album of Australia's Rampage. There's a distinct ruggedness to the band's ceaselessly shifting style of thrash. Mind you, NOT necessarily InchrawnessInch - although the album's production certainly tends toward the rough - but Rampage's execution eschews the super-clean sharpness that thrash metal was largely heading toward in the post-Master of Puppets era.
