This is a great device, it works really good. It does take some time to get used to, but once you setup the buttons to your liking it works great. The RGB on it is also amazing and the software is not too hard to use. Very useful and feels really good quality. The best part is it allows your hand to rest very naturally which helps when plaging for long hours with cramping and soreness.

Hey y’all! (ALL PHOTOS are taken over a year span as I added more to the PC Set Up. Tartarus with me the whole time) I wanted to share my experience with the Razer Tartarus V2 Left Hand Keyboard Controller with Joystick. As a dedicated Fortnite FNCS and Streamer, this controller has become a game-changer for me. Its combination of fast response, customization options, and comfortable design has significantly improved my gameplay. The blend of membrane rubber dome and mechanical switch gives an instant edge, and the 32 programmable keys offer endless customization. Plus, the 8-way directional thumbpad makes executing commands seamless. Even during long gaming sessions, comfort remains a priority with this controller, and the detachable palm rest is a nice touch. Beyond gaming, it has streamlined my streaming tasks with its programmable keys. All in all, the Razer Tartarus V2 has earned its place as an essential tool in my setup. If you're serious about leveling up your gameplay and content creation, I highly recommend giving it a try.

What I like about this one handed is that every key can be customized and if you have other razer products you can sync them with RGB lights and hyperspeed. I did not like the hand rest position making to uncomfortable for me to interact with the key as my hands are not big enough for it design. If you are learning mouse and keyboard and play MMO this will be perfect for you as long as your hand fits.

I was going to buy a number pad but got this instead. I enter dates and numbers into work systems, so I programmed it with number keys, backspace for error correction, and a dash on the thumb key. The joystick makes scrolling down pages of entries a click down and hold process instead of rowing a mouse wheel. But it has a thumb wheel if needed. The hand rest adjusted back to a good position as I have large hands and is far more comfortable than the alternative. I can now enter the data with the Tartarus and a mouse without a need to move my hand from keyboard number pad to the mouse and back constantly. And I can program it for other programs (Video editing, DAW, Excel etc) Win win. I may get a matching keyboard and retire my bulky logitech G510 for work as I don't really need the mappable keys on the keyboard itself anymore.

Wouod definitely recommend to anyone looking to get into mouse and keyboard gamjng. It combines the familiarity of a joystick with the ease of a keyboard. My only recommendation on it is that you buy a thumbstick grip for the joystick. Its very slick. The xbox and switch ones are both too small. But a generic one from online that stretches works perfect. Once i did that its golden.

I had an old version like 12 years ago which I lost. But I just got a gaming PC and I knew I needed a new one. Great product and love that I can customize the lights on it.

best for quick on the go gaming easy to carry. Easy setup and bind keys to what you want RGB lighting is good for late night gaming, All compnants feel well made.

Great accessory for gaming laptop and it's comfy! Only issues that I have is the space (thumb) button doesn't snap back as fast as the others (like less mechanical) it still works in game though. I also dislike that the buttons are numbered and not lettered (however that's just personal preference). Love the rgb backlights and the mechanical snappiness of all the buttons (besides that one)

Nice keypad, the design and material are good, responsive keys, the stick is very helpful for gaming.

Absolutely perfect, I’ve had it about 5 months now, it is a must for a lot of games for me, only downside is I wish there was a easier way to find pre made profiles for popular games that other people have made, because mapping the buttons for all my games gets annoying

So the layout and responsiveness of this is fantastic. And its fully customizable lighting is nice. I cant complain about how well its built. What I dont like, or maybe cant figure out? Is the dpad. I was hoping to replace the WASD keys with it for some of my games, like RE4 fir example. Aim with my mouse, move with the dpad. Well, I *can* map W A S and D to Up, Left, Down and Right. But getting diagnal movement seems to be impossible. It lets you map a diagnal push of the dpad to a button, but only one single key. Moving diagnally with a keyboard requires two keys. Maybe theres a way to do it, maybe there isn’t, but if its possible, they do a really bad job of explaining how. If that were fixed itd be a 5 star product

It's nice for what it is, just ended up having buyers remorse. Had multiple sessions of setting keybinds for final fantasy 14 and that part was easy enough, just have too much muscle memory with a regular keyboard that I had trouble adjusting to how I set the keybinds. The joystick was nice instead of using wasd for movement, just clickier than I would've liked and made movements weird. Minor issue at the end of the day that I probably could've gotten used to, just decided that my muscle memory made me feel more effective in combat. I'm also guessing that if I were to set this up prior to being "established" with my skill rotation, then everything would've been different. Eventually, I'll try with a different game all together and see how I feel about it. Could simply just be not effective for my MMO of choice.

I love this thing, it’s the perfect bridge between controller and keyboard gaming. It doesn’t work to type with, but it works incredibly well to game with. The arrow key joystick and programmable keys allows you to play anything with seamless movement and action. It’s like using a controller with programmable back peddles but you also get mouse aiming. A must have dohickey for console players switching to pc gaming

Razer has always made good product. You can customize the lights and the buttons. I wanted to try this because I'm new to PC gaming snd for me it was more confusing than helpful. The fact thats the keys are numbered instead of lettered threw me for a loop. So instead of hitting WASD for movement you were hitting 8,12,13,14 and in my opinion figuring out which key was which was too confusing for me. My other complaint was that it does have a joystick that you can set but you cant set it for diagonal directions. For example holding W and A keys yo do in a diagonal direction. There are ways to do it but the one game i did attempt to set it is would not allow it to work in that manner. Ended up being returned.
