This does not come with the Rode Wireless Go but is needed when connecting any Apple iOS device.
I'm thrilled with my RODE cable purchase! It seamlessly connects my RODE microphone to my iPhone, and the audio quality is exceptional. It's compact, durable, and exactly what I needed for my mobile recording setup. Highly satisfied!

I bought this to connect my RODE VideoMicro external microphone to my Samsung Galaxy S20. The cable that comes with the mic is a TRS to TRS cable that works fine with my DSLR but for smartphone connectivity, you need a TRS to TRRS cable and this does the job. The black end goes into the mic and the grey end goes into the audio jack of the 'USB C to audio jack adapter' (bought separately from BestBuy)

Its high-quality construction, user-friendly design, and consistent performance make it a valuable addition to any mobile recording setup. I have a RODE SC 6 L Apple Lightening connector that made it possible to provide input from a wireless microphone. The microphone I was using was a professional grade microphone but was not made by RODE and I although I knew the microphones worked I couldn’t capture audio through my Apple devices for Facebook live, video etc. I called RODE and they suggested I try this RODE adaptor and voila I was able to get mic input from my non RODE wireless microphone into the RODE SC6L Lightning adaptor for Apple.

You need this cable if your trying to use an external mic on any phone. The normal wire that comes with most mic's will not work it has to be TRRS to TRS specifically. I got this particularly for my wife's phone. She uses iphone 11 ProMax to life stream fitness classes on facebook and this connects to our wireless rode mic offering great audio during her live stream which isn't possible without this cable. P.S. the grey end goes into the phone connection.

If you want to use your VideoMicro with your phone, this cable is the one you want to buy. It's identical in look and feel to the cable the comes with the VideoMicro - same length, same coiled section. The difference between the two is that this cable (the SC-7) has a TRS (the BLACK plug) and a TRRS (the GRAY plug) connector. Plug the black connector into your VideoMicro and the gray one into your phone. If you use the standard cable that came with the VideoMicro or you plug this one in the wrong way, you won't get any audio.

Now that I’ve had a few RODE products, I have been fully impressed and had no problem specifically choosing a RODE TRS to TRRS patch cable that I needed from my iPhone to a RODE VIdeoMicro. The sound quality was clear on my video and certainly the ease of use and convenience of having one of these makes things much simpler. Other companies make these of course and may be found at a cheaper price. But RODE is a name you can count on and this is a pretty good product!

Great cable to get clean audio from my Rode mic to my iPad.

This little cable allows me to use the Rode Wireless Go system with my phone. My sound quality for videos went from bad to great! Most will use the Wireless Go system with a camera, but with this cord, you could only bring your phone and still have quality audio.

these are a perfect accessory to use for most phone mic inputs to connect rode wireless receiver for camera. i use in this capacity. the coil cable allows wires to retract to a smal managable size and fits inside the small case that the rode wireless mic and transmitter comes with.

Just the cable I needed for my cell phone to make live stream videos online. Samsung and Apple still require to purchase the additional dongle but this solved all of my microphone issues over quality of recording live.

TRS end connects to audio Headphones, or External Microphone, and TRRS (Tip, Ring, Ring, Sleeve) is necessary to connect to a Smart devise like a mobile Phone, or Tablet.

Typical world-class Rode quality. Needed this one to work with a iPhone, and it does the job beautifully. Not sure what else to say except that it works with everything BUT my iPhone 7. As to why, well... Apply, really. But it's being used with an iPhone 6 to record some ion-car vlogs with my trusty Rode Mini Mic Me, and it's doing cable-y things like moving electrons along to create sound. Science, baby. High-quality materials, flashy red color to match my underwear, and even color-coded so you know that the gray end goes toward the Apple, because it's old. In all seriousness, though, this is the one you need to connect your Rode shotgun mic to an Apple iPhone, prior to the 7. And no one else had it in stock. Best Buy coming through again!

You NEED this piece if you are trying to use the Rode Wireless Go to a computer, camera, or smartphone. Wish that was clearer when you purchase the microphone, but this is a must need piece!

Works well for connecting an external microphone to a smartphone audio jack. Tested with an iPhone 12 Pro with a 3.5mm adapter. No problems.
