A: Both are an option with this setup. 1. You can plug in the receiver with the screen on it using the cord into your camera and whenever you’re recording the audio on your video from the transmitter. 2. The transmitter records internally as a backup but you’ll have to plug it into your computer to retrieve the audio using the RODE app/program. This is in case your receiver is too far from the transmitter and your audio starts to cut out.
Q: Does this come with one receiver and two mics? TIA
A: No. This package offers only one wireless mic and one receiver. There is another GOII package for $100 more that comes with two wireless mics.
Q: Is this microphone rechargeable
A: Yes, it comes with usb cables to charge it but not a power brick. Easy enough to charge from a computer or battery bank.
Q: How does this connect to an iPhone?
A: The cable you need for an iPhone is not included in this. You need a Sc7 cable, plus the Iphone adapter.
