    great buddy comedy in 4K

This has always been one of my favorite buddy comedies from the '80s so as soon as I heard it was coming out on 4K I just had to buy it. I was not disappointed either because the 4K transfer is just beautiful, I highly recommend this release for any '80s action fans.

    RedHeat: Schwarzenegger&Belushi!

Do you like Arnold Schwarzenegger in comedic roles? How about James Belushi? Here they are together in their finest form -- excellent chemistry in this 1988 comedy cop caper! (Arnie plays a comedic Russian well!) Every time I watch this DVD, it is still entertaining! THAT is a good thing to say about any DVD! I haven't done any research on any other films these guys have done together, but this one is excellent! They both display excellent acting chops, both are so 1988 photogenic, likeable, humorous, entertaining. The script is excellent and both actors entertain by using their spoken and acting lines for comedic timing perfection. Unlike some severely lowbrow Schwarzenegger or Belushi films -- there is intelligence at play in this funny movie with both central actors in their prime performance heyday. I am so glad I have something with these two actors that I can return to again and again. AND other than Arnold Schwarzenegger's ERASER, TOTAL RECALL and all 4 TERMINATOR films (and several other unique well-acted Schwarzenegger films) -- I am NOT a fan of Schwarzenegger's numerous comedies. (James Belushi is pretty much great in most all his stuff -- with numerous flat-acting exceptions, of course!) This one is a great loveable good exception for both actors -- which I love to watch this incredible comedic chemistry between two EXCELLENT, fine actors doing their craft! And it's fun!!
