About This Item

There are zombies'and then there are brain-eating zombies! And Return of the Living Dead was the film where brain-eating zombies got their first lease on, er, life. Co-written by John Russo, who was George Romero's writing partner on Night of the Living Dead, this 1985 quasi-sequel introduced more 'splatstick' humor to the horror formula as well as the indelible image of ghouls groaning 'Braainsss' as they shuffle along. All set to a KILLER score featuring the greatest punk and death rock bands of the era, including The Cramps, 45 Grave, The Flesh Eaters, The Damned, Roky Erickson, The Jet Black Berries, T.S.O.L. and SSQ. This vinyl reissue of this classic soundtrack is just so Real Gone limited edition clear with blood red splatter vinyl! Braainsss! Album Tracks 1. Surfin' Dead the Cramps 2. Deicide - Serpents Of The Light - VINYL LP

Calling a Deicide album Inchmore accessibleInch is kind of like calling a velociraptor less lethal than a T-Rex... you're gonna die either way. But on 1997's Serpents of the Light, the fourth album from the Tampa death metal quartet, Glen Benton's rage-filled imprecations are a little more intelligible and songs like InchSlave to the CrossInch and InchBlame It on GodInch do sport choruses that verge upon being hooky (if you have a meathook in mind). The anti-religion invective remains unabated, however... this remains music in extremis despite the stripped-down production. For it's first-ever standalone U.S. LP , we've remastered Serpents of the Light for vinyl and given it a deathly blue pressing complete with an inner sleeve featuring lyrics and a 12Inch x 24Inch poster of the cover image. Not for even the faintly faint of heart. Album Tracks 1. Serpents of the Light 2. Bastard of Christ 3. Blame It on God 4. This Is Hell We're in 5. I Am No One 6. Slave to the Cross 7. Creatures of Habit 8. Believe the Lie 9. The Truth Above 10. Father Baker's
