I got this Rexing BC500 in car baby monitor because I drives with my toddler, and it has greatly reduced my stress while driving. I used to rely on a mirror, which always felt a bit precarious since I had to adjust my angle or glance back longer or the mirror will move off angle due to sharp turns. This setup feels far more natural. The camera straps onto the headrest and the monitor mounts easily on the dash using a holder. The included cable is long enough to route neatly through my car without any awkward stretching. Once wired(check out on how to wire this unit in the picture), there is a button on the 12V charger, press to turn power ON. No pairing or convoluted setup required as it just works. The video quality is good during the day and the night vision also works well in darker conditions. I can clearly see my child without turning around even on dim roads. It has a wide angle lens which helps cover more of the backseat. There are a couple of things I would like to see as an improvements 1) A USB C power option would be nice 2) A combining of something like Rexing’s CPDuo style system could reduce multiple screens on dashboard. Still, these feel like small trade offs. To conclude, It gives a steady and reliable view of my baby in the rear seat while I keep my focus where it belongs while driving.

Simple and straight forward device. My child’s reached the age where she would likely break something like this but def could see this for a 3 and under. Can tighten fairly well to the back of any headrest and sticks out about an inch. Camera could use a little more swivel to allow for some different angles but the images on the store page are extactly wha you get. Only plugs into the cig lighter port/vehicle accessory socket so if you have a dash camera like me, you’ll need something to split or hopefully your vehicle has more than one. Picture is decent quality for the price. No recording features.

This is a basic camera system that is very easy to set up and can either come on when the power is applied to the power port when you start your car or with the switch on the power adapter. I also liked that there is very minimal wiring and is very easy to install. You plug the power adapter into your vehicle and into the cable on the screen and there is a wire that goes from a cable on the screen to a cable on the camera. The connecting cable from the screen to the camera is 17 feet long so this system can be used in a car, SUV or van. It also is detachable at both ends so it is easy to route under and around seats when installing. One thing to note is the image displayed on the screen is a mirror image of what the camera is pointed at. This is a huge improvement over the mirrors they sell to keep an eye on your children in the back seat and allows you to view any seat or area of your vehicle. It would also work great for watching animals in the back of an car, SUV or van.

Grand kid and “Bike” Camera This purchase will have two uses; first as intended, a backseat watching the kids camera for the grand kids, but also a rear facing bike camera so I do not have to turn around to watch approaching cars. First the rear seat view camera. Unboxing and connection were super easy; this is a simple device intended to view the kids from the dashboard rather than turning around while driving. Cables are impossible to mix up. Use the suction cut to mount to the dash, plug into 12V car power jack. Use the straps to attach to the back of the front seat... it works! An additional great feature; the 12V power plug has an integrated on/off button; no need to pull out when not in use. Easy Install (no Instructions needed!) Long extension cable for camera to front power included. Simple to use (no setup needed!) Good Price Bike Camera Previously I made a custom REAR facing camera for my bicycle which blueTooth connects to my phone. The picture is far too SMALL to do me much good seeing cars approach; blueTooth connection/disconnect is irritating. Soon I will mount this camera/screen onto the bike for when the kids are not visiting. Display size is better than my phone; color is good compared to existing camera. Ya, it is not approved for rain... I will cover it with a bag and go home until the sun is out again.

The product is fantastic been wanting to have something like this because i was only using a mirror, i have a 2.5 yrs old and whenever my wife or me is on travel the only one can take the baby to daycare so tbis is so helpful. It is crystal clear and no lag since its wired together. I placed on the side corner of our dashboard so its within the drivers eye sight.

Easy to install and simple to operate. Camera quality is good but it does switch into night mode pretty quickly even in daylight. Overall happy with the camera!

Awesome for what it is. I don’t have kids but I travel with my dogs. Now I’m able to see them in the back seat of my truck without having to turn my head. I don’t need it to record and the picture quality is great. Basic, perfect and cheap

I've been using Rexing for 5+ years now, including dash cams and mirror cams. They keep expanding their items. It's one of my top 2 favorite brands. In the old days, you'd just put this mirror up to look at the baby, which was quite hard to aim correctly. I can't believe they now have this technology. These work exactly like a dash cam with the same setup. You could even take one of their dash cams and use the rear camera for the baby, heh. The screen is easiest mounted on the windshield. You can put it on a dash, depending on your car, and using a 3M sticker. They give you a strap for the camera, but it can become dislodged if moved, bumped, or not tightened properly. It may require adjustments. I was surprised that it doesn't have any recording, but I suppose that would raise the price. This one is an upgrade to a previous The only thing I'd change is 4k vs. 1080p.

In Car Baby Cam When it comes to family, Human or Pet I always take safety first. I have used Rexing for many years, and this is a first. We need to keep an eye on the road and our family as well. I’ve been really happy with this baby camera overall. The video is clear, and it’s easy to keep an eye on my child without constantly looking over my shoulder or adjusting a mirror. The quality of the images are very clear its easy to use and the night vision is pretty good good. What i like the most is its easy to operate.

Easy installation and works great with my Tesla, here other cameras do not! Cords were easy to hide as well
