Great at night, but HORRIBLE during the day

This cabin camera is great for night time, but is a major fail during the day. I’ve enclosed a pic of the interior of my vehicle to show the problem with daytime recording. There’s a pirplish hue that’s impossible to get rid of. I’ve tried changing the color using a video editing program to little avail. Rexing has told me this is normal which I disagree. I’ve seen many cabin facing videos where the purplish hue is not only absent, but looks like a normal recording. Look at my vehicle interior photo. It’s supposed to be a grey interior. I purchased a 2nd cabin cam lens thinking it was an isolated incident. That was a no go too as the problem was still there. Bottom line is night time is great, but if you want a consistent image, you’ll need to tuen the ir red light selection to ON so the image will be black & white.

The pink/purple hue is because of the IR lights in the cabin camera.

I ended up taking this cab camera accessory off. It wasn’t the best picture quality and eventually seemed useless. I do have the rear facing camera in the back window that I still use.

The red/purple hue is due to the IR lights in the cabin camera, which is completely normal.
