Riedel - Vinum Viognier/Chardonnay Wine Glass, Set of 2 - Clear

The Oaked Chardonnay glass is perfect to reveal the intensity of full-bodied white wines, including the wine's multi-layered aromas. With a larger volume, the wide open-mouthed bowl enables the rich bouquet to develop its wonderfully diverse range of aromas, emphasizing the finesse while minimizing the risk of richer style white wines becoming over-concentrated. This pack contains two glasses. Machine-made and dishwasher safe.

Bring out everything that makes Syrah and Shiraz extraordinary with the Riedel Vinum Syrah/Shiraz Wine Glass, Set of 2 (6416/30). The Vinum collection was designed in 1986 by 10th-generation Georg J. Riedel as the world's first machine-made varietal specific glass series — taking the performance principles of the handmade Sommeliers range and making them available at a price that invites daily use. The Syrah/Shiraz shape was developed between 1993 and 1995 through sensory workshops in major Syrah-growing regions and has since become the most versatile red wine shape in the entire Riedel range. The large egg-shaped bowl with a slightly tapered opening develops intense aromas of toast, black olives, and rich blackberry, while delivering the wine's silky, velvety structure to the palate with tannins that melt into the fruit rather than clashing against it. At 22-7/8 oz and 9-1/4" tall, it is sized for bold, powerful reds with room to breathe — ideal for Syrah, Shiraz, Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Grenache, Malbec, Mourvèdre, and Amarone. Machine-made lead-free crystal. Dishwasher safe. Set of 2. From Riedel, crafting exceptional drinkware since 1756. Item 6416/30.

The Old World Pinot Noir glass is perfect for light-bodied red wines with high acidity and moderate tannin. The generous size of this glass allows the bouquet to develop fully, and smooths out the rough edges. It emphasizes the fruit, playing down the bitter qualities of the tannin, and allows wines to achieve balance. The revolutionary series RIEDEL Veritas debuted in 2014 to set the standard for glassware yet again. The brand's world class technicians were asked by 10th generation Georg J. Riedel to create a series that was visually stunning, a delight to hold, and price competitive. They accomplished their task with excellence; creating a wine glass collection for the 21st century. This item is premium machine-made.
