What an amazing headset and charging dock!
This is hands down the best gaming headset I’ve ever owned! I honestly think they are better than most of the expensive Turtle Beach headsets out there. It is super lightweight, which is what I was looking for to play long sessions without it being uncomfortable. When you’re playing a game or watching a movie that supports Dolby Atmos, the experience is incredible! The sound is so crisp and clear! The controls on the left side, are easily accessible, and I love that there is a separate volume wheel for the mic. Speaking of the mic, I’m not really a fan of mics that go around your face, but this one is really convenient because you can adjust it to your liking, and flip it up when you’re not using it, and it will automatically turn the mic off. The battery life is amazing too! Since I’ve purchased The Rig over a month ago, I haven’t had to charge it mid game, or during a long movie. One day, I played WARZONE for about 3 and a half hours, watched about 3 movies that day, along with YouTube videos in between, and still had almost 40% battery life. Having a charging base is also a really great plus! It is so easy to dock it after you’re done using. Also, having a dock, brings back the points that were taken away when I realized it has micro usb charging. But with a dock, I forget it’s even there because I don’t use the charging port with the base. It is also very comfortable and the design is really cool imo! I will say one minor thing, if you’re looking for a headset with a lot of bass, you may want to compare to other headsets. That is something that doesn’t bother me, because the sound is still incredible from this really lightweight headset. Compared to the heavier headsets with more bass, I will chose this headset every time. It still sounds really crisp, clear, and can get very loud during action sequences in games in movies! Overall this is an amazing headset and base for the price! I think it’s way more comfortable than the Astro a50, and that headset is double the price without a base. The a50 also feels cheap for the price. Go with the Rig, it does not disappoint!

*Great High-End Budget Headset*
Ive been gaming on Xbox Consoles since the first Xbox 360 came out in 2005. Thats 19 years ago. Ive used numerous headsets from Turtle Beach, Astros etc. Once i started using RIG headsets Ive pretty much never went back to any other brand. The great thing about this headset is the affordability with a charging cradle. I mean you cant beat that. Especially when they give you a Dolby atmos subcription. Furthermore the qaulity is great and ive had no issues whatsoever! Great headset for the price!
