Q: Can you use the two 15° wedges as more of an extension to your door way so place both 15 on top of each other in the opposite way to give the door bell a little more area away from the wall I have a thick brick on one side and too thin of wood to mount.

A: Yes. Kit should have three wedges in it, so if you put the first two wedges opposite each other and the third one where the shallow side Is opposite or away from the brick wall that would be better for you.

Q: This corner kit does not fit the ring doorbell generation 2. Which corner kit do I use?

A: I ended up using 4" screws on the widest part and drilling in my own holes. This left a 1/4" gap on the top exposing the wires. Ended up caulking and then painting it black to match the wedge. So far no issues and it does show it is wired.

Q: Can I combine (1) wedge - to account for the siding with 1 or 2 corner pieces - to provide better view of walkway? In other words, can I combine parts from the wedge kit with parts from the corner kit? I am looking to use this with a Ring Doorbell 2.

Q: My current doorbell faces the opposite wall. To install the ring doorbell i purchased i would need to angle it 90 degrees to face the walkway. Can you use 2 sets of wedges to do that?

Q: Is Ring 2 & Ring (2020 Version) the same product?

A: Yes they are but there is no RING 2 doorbell its RING 1 generation 2. This was really hard for me and my installer to figure out. I would like to return the RING 1 generation 2 but my installer took 2 months before we knew it wasn't what I wanted.
