We were getting Ring alerts every time a car or any vehicle passed buy the house. Ordered the wedge kit at a comparable price and it arrived in a few days. Picked it up and came home to install it. Tried one wedge less alerts but still enough to be annoying. Tried adjusting but had to install second wedge of the three. Much better!

The wedge has helped in the amount of false alarms due to automobile traffic in front of my home. Very easy to install, just make sure you have a few extra long screws when re-mounting.

I now own a worthless $20 piece of plastic. The holes don’t match up for the doorbell.

I bought this after installing my ring doorbell 2 because I wanted my steps in full view so I can see if packages are delivered. It also cuts down on the false alerts due to cars driving by. My only real complaint is that I had to drill 2 additional holes because they don’t attach the same way the doorbell it self does so the original 4 drilled holes are now completely useless. Also, Like another reviewer mentioned I too kind of feel this is a bit expensive just for plastic. These should be half the price.

My Ring doorbell was constantly alerting me to movement outside. The Ring bell needed to be adjusted so I ordered the Ring wedge kit. The kit was easy to install and I went from over 100 alerts a day to less than 15. The Ring wedge fixed my problem. I would have given it 5 stars but paying $20 for two pieces of plastic is ridiculous. Shame on Ring for overcharging for these pieces of plastic.
