Rippers - Honesty - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Digitally remastered reissue of the previously obscure 1983 album by the Red Rippers. Written and recorded by Navy pilot Edwin Banks ton, the album's nine battle-scarred country-boogie dispatches chronicle the experiences of Banks ton and his fellow vets in Vietnam and back home. First-ever reissue of this rare collector's item, featuring fully remastered audio and restored artwork.

Johnny Kemp's big hit on his second album was, InchJust Got Paid,Inch which has been absorbed into the general vernacular. He scored a number one R&B hit with it, but unfortunately peaked as an artist once it faded. The single was also noteworthy in that it was one of the first big hits co-produced by Teddy Riley, who went on to become an influential figure in new jack swing R&B. This CD is packed with 4 bonus tracks. Limited edition of 2000.
