Road To Bali was the 6th. In the series of 'Road' pictures and the only one to be filmed in Technicolor. George (Bing Crosby) and Harold (Bob Hope), are vaudeville performers anxious to leave Australia to avoid various marriage proposals. They end up taking jobs as pearl divers. When they go to an island on the way to Bali, they meet and vie for the favors of the exotic Princess Lala (Dorothy Lamour). A dive produces a chest of priceless jewels, which the Prince wants as his own. They escape from the prince, but get shipwrecked on another island. By now, Lala is in love with both of them, and can't decide which to choose. The natives inform her that a woman can marry multiple husbands. Lala decides to marry them both. However, all this changes when Lala has become unwillingly wed to the already much-married King (Leon Askin), while the boys end up married to each other. But, this is not the end of the story. You MUST watch to see how this hilarious romantic comedy resolves itself!! (90 minutes - 1952 - Color - 4 3)
