Rock-a-Doodle - DVD

From legendary animator Don Bluth (The Secret of NIMH, An American Tail, The Land Before Time) comes Rock-a-Doodle, a toe-tapping musical adventure bursting with color, heart, and Elvis-inspired flair. When the sun-loving rooster Chanticleer-voiced by country music legend Glen Campbell (True Grit, Rhinestone Cowboy, Norwood)-crows, the dawn breaks across the farm. But when one morning the sun fails to rise, Chanticleer is ridiculed and runs away in shame. Soon, the world falls into darkness, and a young boy named Edmond (played by Toby Scott Ganger) is transformed into a kitten and joins a ragtag band of animal friends determined to find Chanticleer and restore the light. Brimming with humor, heart, and high-energy tunes, Rock-a-Doodle features an all-star voice cast including Christopher Plummer (The Sound of Music, Beginners, Up, Knives Out), Phil Harris (The Jungle Book, The Aristocats, Robin Hood), Ellen Greene (Little Shop of Horrors, Pushing Daisies), Sorrell Booke (The Dukes of Hazzard, Fail Safe), and Dee Wallace (E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Cujo, The Howling). Blending live-action storytelling with richly animated fantasy, this musical odyssey combines Don Bluth's signature visual magic with songs composed by T.J. Kuenster and performed by Glen Campbell himself. A nostalgic gem for families and animation fans alike, Rock-a-Doodle shines as a celebration of courage, friendship, and believing in your own song. With it's irresistible soundtrack, vivid animation, and timeless Don Bluth style, it's a fun-filled reminder that even in the darkest times, the music never truly stops. Animated Run Time 75 minutes G
