About this product
It's been 10 years since their last album and they're back from outer-space tougher, wilder and sharper than ever. Snake sees Rocket Science at the height of their powers, charged with a cosmic energy born of a unique alignment between four exceptional musicians. A collaborative work, recorded by the band's guitarist Paul Maybury. Mixing improvised moments with post-punk, garage, space rock and dark imagery. The songs reflect a decaying post-postmodern world, that is both self-destructive and in denial. With themes ranging from disillusion, disgust, fear and betrayal; to drugs, disability, gender and existential panic, Snake is a record in and of it's time, railing against the system like all good rock'n'roll should.1. Sweden's extraordinary drums and vocals duo Wild birds & Peacedrums return with the Snake, the fierce follow up to their intoxicating debut, Heart core. In 2008 vocalist Mariam Wallentin and her percussionist husband Andreas Werliin were introduced to the world outside their lively Gothenburg scene and wound up as one of the year's hidden treasures. The pair has since toured extensively, thriving on international festival stages, equally at home alongside pop sensations like fellow Swede Lykke LI as free-improv outfit the Thing.

2018 , the fourth album from the San Diego-based punk rock recidivists. The album was produced by the band and recorded in Philadelphia and San Diego throughout 2017. Hot Snakes are an American post-hardcore band led by Rick Froberg and John Reis, formed in 1999 in San Diego, California. Reis and Froberg had previously performed together in Pitchfork and Drive Like Jehu, after which Reis had found international success with Rocket from the Crypt. Hot Snakes disbanded in 2005 but reunited in 2011. Although they share musical similarities with members' previous outfits, Hot Snakes have a sound that is much more primal than that of Pitchfork, Drive Like Jehu or even Rocket from the Crypt. Reis and Froberg were also heavily influenced by bands such as The Wipers, Suicide, and Michael Yonkers Band, and these influences gave Hot Snakes a distinctive sound that has been described by one critic as Inchhardcore garage punk.Inch
